This album serves as my favorite in Prince's prolific catalog. While I enjoy them all, this one takes the top spot for me. A double album with a range of music that checks all the boxes. Lyrically potent and aware, this album should not be missed by any Prince fan. Vinyl is a joy to listen to, possessing a distinct sound different from CD's or electronic versions of these songs.

Only Prince could pull off an album with a diverse range of musical sounds and have it all hang together. There are ballads, dance numbers, social commentary, religious references, and of course sexual overtures. While the album was not a huge commercial success, over half the tracks are Prince classics.

What more can I say. If you don't know any of Prince's work,you need to drop everything,and get to studying his music. This was one of the first vinyls I purchased,when I decided to take collecting seriously.

This is a favorite LP of mine be this is the first time I had it on vinyl. So I can’t say if as good as the original pressing. It does sound good on my turntable no unwanted noise.

One of his greatest records he came out with. Encompassing all types of music from funk to rock. This is a must have in your record collection. Just listen to “I could never take the place of your man” and your hooked!!

Prince was the man, and this album just underscores that statement. There's pop, RnB, blues, rock on this album. He does it all and knocks it out of the park.

Kevin Gray does it again. Love this album, and this reissued version brings so much out of the mix. Get it now. Previously unheard joys await.
