I can hardly wait for the next Silent Hill movie! This second movie was appreciated and enjoyable.

Not the greatest video game adaptation. Surely not the film Michael Bassest wanted to make. But if your a fan of his Solomon Kane film. There's plenty to enjoy, in this better late than never sequel

This movie is not as good as the original but it's still pretty good

The 3 star review is for the package, not the quality of the movie. I'm a sucker for 3D but Silent Hill Revelation is an awful movie. This release was supposed to be OOP so I was happy to grab it for $10. Even going in with low expectations a Silent Hill fan will still be disappointed.

Honestly didn’t think I’d like it I thought it was so good and in 3D with my 3D enabled tv made it everything!!!

Solid movie. Don't go in expecting acadamy award material, but if you liked the first one you should enjoy this one. Great 3D on the 3D blu-ray. At points a little slow and not as psycological as the first one, but still a very solid movie and worth a watch

Silent Hill was a really good sci fi movie. I could feel the pain and confusion that the heroine in the movie felt. The movie had plenty of strange scenes and I did stay awake during the whole movie. I have to admit that it did keep me on the edge of my seat most of the time. The suspense was believable. I'm glad that I purchased it for my movie collection.

So I love Silent Hill, Love as in I wish I could go and visit it and experience it myself. I love Silent Hill 3 and thought what, they are making a movie based on the game with the only female protagonist in the whole series yes please!! I can say with much happiness that a lot of the film has interludes and sections that you would be like oh my gosh that's from the game and it is awesome! The only thing I disliked and its minor spoil possibly big depending on how you see it is that they made Vincent young like in high school altho in the game hes like an older guy like in his 30s and they totally didn't put in that awesome song you hear when you first meet him, that was my only drawback! The nurses are back and awesome, and the carousel and everything is great, I love it, glad its in my collection and if you are a fan of the games youll love this film, some people rag on it but its fun ,go with it with an open mind rather than expecting an exact replica of the videogame translated to film.

Average horror movie not what I really expected but okay.

Another Black Friday deal. I love the first Silent Hill and wanted to like this, but didn't care much for it in the theater. Finally re-visited with lower expectations and it's not bad, it's just not really good either. Take it or leave it.

I loved playing these games, played them over and over. Some weird part of me enjoys exploring creepy empty buildings while waiting for creatures to pounce, solving puzzles. Anyhow, I liked the first movie and all but i'm glad this one went closer to the games. It got some things about silent hill 3 dead on, while trying to tie it to the first movie, i just don't think they really successfully explained how it even could have been tied to the first one with the kind of ending that movie had. This was another of my black friday finds at best buy, grabbed it on bluray for good price. If you're a fan of the games you may enjoy this one.

NOT AS GOOD AS THE FIRST ONE,BUT SEQUELS USUALLY AREN'T.THE MOVIE HAD GOOD 3D EFFECTS WHICH ADDED TO THIS SEQUEL.HAD SOME SCARY SCENES WITH BLOOD AND GORE INVOLVED.OVERALL A GOOD MOVIE.

All the same elements that made the 1rst movie good . Gave plausible explanation as a sequel, " monsters" were creative and blended well w/ original story line. Liked ending allowing for future additions.

I kinda liked the first silent hill better but this movie is a good follow up to the original. Some creepy moments but not overly scary.

Bought this movie for my sister as a Christmas gift. Good movie made better with the 3D picture! Would definitely recommend.

The film still applies elements from the video game series in a respectful manner. Even though it's not as long or closely related as the first movie was, scarier and awaited creatures of Silent Hill have been added. The cast is great and the plot moves at a constant pace. It never stops in scaring oneself and is even creepier than the first. If you love the first movie or the video game franchise, you'll enjoy this!

Not bad horror flick.first original movie was much better. Acting was so so. Mood setting was cool.

I often wondered what was gong to happen next and yes, my question was answered in this movie. Stuff makes you wonder... .
