When I I saw the description silcon case I was thinking of the soft flexible silicon but was happy to see that it's a soft silcon outer shell with a hard inner shell. Feels really nice in the hand also. Side note, before installing the case there is a plastic peel away on the inside top and bottom pieces that reveal a tacky strip that helps the case stick to the phone so while you're flipping it open and closed it doesn't come off.

Absolutely fantastic for small and slippery hands!

The rubberized material gives you a nice grip while using it and if that's not enough, the little strap allows you to slide your hand in behind the phone when it's open and being used.
