Bought phone, read the review, bought SIM card for $1.00 and called Tracfone. They "rebranded" the phone by giving them the serial # on the phone and then they said to go to Best Buy and get a SIM card. I drove over to Best Buy bough the SIM card and called again. Spoke to someone who seriously can't understand English. After go round and round with explaining the situation he said that he would send me a SIM card because the one I bought didn't work. I was so angry. Then he told me that he didn't type in the NEW SIM card # and then he tried that. Then he said that I needed to return my phone because it's not a Tracfone. I asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor came on and told me that it would only work with AT&T and T-Mobile networks because it's a "GSM technology". We bought this phone (our 4th Tracfone in the family) to get on the Verizon network because of the coverage. They said it won't work. The Verizon network is a "CDMA" technology and we would need that kind of phone. The only phones that you can associate with the Tracfone brand and get Verizon network is a "TRACFONE" in a Tracfone box or sold directly by Tracfone or a "bring your own phone" from Verizon. The SIM card that they would send me (or anyone else) will give you the SAME result as if you bought it from the store. Tracfone customer service and packaging should have known all of this before we spent over 3 hours trying to solve this issue, I would NOT recommend this phone for anyone who wants to use Tracfone and get great coverage. You will be highly disappointed. To those people who have purchased this phone and are waiting for Tracfone to SEND YOU A SIM CARD....it will NOT work!!! This is a warning.

we purchased this phone for my wife. The large screen allowed for pleasant viewing of YouTube videos, poor reception on the lte network is frustrating. Phone no longer charges. Will bring back for an exchange.

Economy phone price but does what I need with a 5.5 screen. Good battery life and does not "look" cheap! I will recommend.

For an unlocked phone that is suppose to be 4g but doesnt acess 4g is useless

This phone has plenty of features. I had the Samsung S5 which had a problem. I bought this one as a back up phone, and I didn't really miss the S5 because it was very comparable to the S5.

Tablet overheats easily and malfunctions. Moves slowly and streams a horrible pictur

I ordered this before there were reviews on line. Mistake! Once I ordered it someone wrote that you can't use it with Tracfone. They were right, but my phone was on the way to me. Best Buy took it back and I bought a different phone which is great. More expensive, but worth it to use Tracfone. That way I didn't loose my minutes.

This phone worked great out of the box. Good service in most areas

This phone can only be used with Simple Mobile all other names do not apply to to the service or use of this phone. Don't purchase for any other use but for Simple mobile TracFone wireless or T-Mobile accounts can not be used

My daughter loves the phone and I is a big phone for the low price

This tracfone is not that bad, especially if you don't expect it to be like an iPhone. I have not had any problems with this phone, it has served its purpose. I get phone calls & it gets on the internet just fine. My only complaint is where the on/off button is on the side above the volume & I can't get very many apps without purchasing more memory. Other than that I bought it for the large screen & since it's been on sale the price was cheap.

out of 8bg of the stage you get 2.1 free of memory of stage most app's do not work on the sd cards I have try.most apps will take at least 1 gb or 2 gb of your stage you would think tracfone would give more then 8gb make sure you turn off your weather app because it will check the weather every 15 seconds 180 for web if you ask me is not much

I bought this phone because it says TRACFONE in the description, but it doesn't work with TRACFONE. I bought 90 day card from TRACFONE and when I went to add the minutes to this phone at the TRACFONE website, it said it;s a STRAIGHTTALK Phone and told me to go there. Well, I don't want a STRAIGHTTALK plan - I want TRACFONE. So I call TRACFONE and talk to a customer service person. She asks for the last 4 digits of the phone's serial number. I give it to her and she transfers me to a T-Mobile rep. The T-Mobile rep has no idea why and transfers me back to Tracfone. I talk to another TRACFONE rep and she sends me to Simple Mobile. I wait on hold for 10 minutes at Simple Mobile and get cut off. The phone looks really nice. If you want to use it with a Simple Mobile plan or Straightalk, fine. If you want to use it with a TRACFONE plan, forget it. By the way, when I first powered up the phone, it said "TRACFONE", not Simple Mobile and not Straighttalk, but there's no way to add the TRACFONE card minutes. At least no way that I'm interested in spending any more time trying to figure out. I have an LG TRACFONE that I had up and running in 5 minutes. I'm sending the phone back to Best Buy.
