Customers often highlight the TCL A1's affordability and ease of use as significant strengths. However, the small screen size and battery life are frequently cited as weaknesses. Some users also expressed concerns about the camera quality. Overall, opinions are mixed, with positive feedback on price and usability balanced by negative comments regarding screen size, battery performance, and image quality.

I don't use this as a phone. Instead, I use it as a very small tablet. 95% of what I do is listen to books on it. I use the Bluetooth to hook it to my headphones, download audio books from the library app, and wear it while I do my job (mowing lawns.) I never activated it, so I don't have a phone number or plan. I only use it on wifi to download the books. The display isn't great, but that doesn't matter to me. It's small and fits easily in my pocket. For what I use it for, it's perfect.

Essentially this phone does everything that a $500 phone does, except HQ photos and videos. but for a basic user who has to use the social apps, mails, calls, messages, this phone would be perfect and dirt cheap as well. its like getting a secondary phone for free.

This phone is a great buy but does tend to slow down after a month of use. I would recommend this phone for people who are in a low budget and in need for a phone. I haven't had any problem with service in the twin falls area which I reside.

I really enjoy this phone. Everything was easy as the set up and the camera is ok. I can hear hear clearly as people call me. The phone is for good for those on a tight budget.

I should have known a cheap phone wouldn’t handle games, but it was worth a try. If you’re looking for a phone for someone to simply text and make phone calls, then this phone is great and offers the look of a more expensive phone. HOWEVER, if you’re looking to use this phone for games (or 1 game in my case: Pokemon Go), it doesn’t handle the graphics very well. Everything is delayed and sometimes the touch screen doesn’t recognize when you’ve clicked. It’s fine for use every once in a while, but I’m trying to use the phone to play every day, and it just gets incredibly frustrating. Just wish I had gotten a refurbished typically expensive phone at this point!

I like the smaller TCL phone for the price of less than $25. The power action button did not last at all as long as it should have, so I am in the process of purchasing my 4th LG Rebel 4 LTE which the 3rd one only went out, bc someone went out of their way to destroy it.

Purchased for my mate who is prone to lose, break, re program phones! I converted it from Wifi to a basic talk and text phone. Great little phone, low cost and if you want all the APPS Internet etc. option with no fuss this is the phone.

This mobile phone is used only for internet browsing, searches, emails, YouTubes, Google maps, reviews, photography, and Alexa with my 2 Echo Dots and Amazon Smart Plug setups. But not phone calls, because I did not purchase phone service that costs too much. It simply makes a great remote for internet. Only my elbow is sore and my fingers go numb for holding it too long and typing so much. Only the battery costs about a dollar less than this $26 phone that is longer at Best Buy. The first battery was getting to explode lithium a Staples tech told me because it was fat and bulging from overcharging

A budget smartphone under $30 on the simple mobile network means the device costs less than the average monthly plan. Provides a good backup phone option without putting a hole in your wallet.

My phone broke and I needed a quick cheapy one. Only thing I really didn't like about this phone is that texting and calling was an issue. I never got some texts and hardly anyone could hear me on the phone.
