      This is a very well built garbage can, but it is a bit pricey. I love the look. The can closes softly. It can also remain open with a slide of a lever. We have been using regular garbage can bags and they fit fine.

      ...but I've only had it 1 month. I love the large size. You do not need to purchase the special bags that the company encourages you to buy. Regular kitchen bags fit fine with a bit of stretching.

      Trash can looks great and is light weight but it is high in price. Love the removable liner. Can use regular trash bags that fit a little tight around the edge.

      We had another Simple Human garbage can that started to go through use, but it was at least a few years old. This garbage can is brand new, but I can already tell they've improved on past designs. Fluid motion in opening and closing, sleek look and great storage capacity makes for an overall excellent garbage can. I wish the price was a little less, but the quality is definitely there.
