The nightstand looks nice. It feels very sturdy when assembled compared to other furniture that need assembly. It took me approximately 1 hour to assemble on a workbench the first time while reading the instructions but it would probably take around 20-30 minutes on the bench if you have already done it before. The top was the more time-consuming part because of the angle and the now-more-limited space for anyone wondering what the hardest part was. The hardware it comes with feels considerably more quality than the majority of other AR (assembly required) furnishings, the screws in particular. Quality control needs to improve. The nightstand itself is solid and very well-packaged but the items themselves arrive damaged from the factory. Thankfully the top itself was in perfect condition but the drawer fronts and drawer box frames are a different story. They have scratches on the front and are missing stain on the inside. That is pretty disappointing and it makes this feel like something that was acquired through a yard sale of unwanted things. To my surprise the sides of the night stand have some weight to them and feel pretty strong. I am almost certain they used real wood for the entire frame except for the drawers and back panel. The drawer fronts and drawer box panels are particleboard. I would definitely buy another one in the future.
