Disappointed photos not accurate of color

The wood color is Much lighter than the photos I specifically got this for the dark wood color to match my decor! The wood is seems soft and could be damaged easily if bumped into a counter. I do like the look of the chair otherwise very comfortable…. Very upset that Best Buy requires me to disassemble to return
