it took about 5 minutes each to install these 4 sensors. to fill in on our ground floor of our house. The initial "starter" kit comes with a few sensors, but making sure that all windows in easy access (the ground floor our house) are protected is not difficult. The most common portal of entry of an intruder is to pick or kick in an entry door, but #2 is to break a window that can be reached easily from the outside. So after the doors were fully monitored, getting a box of 4 additional sensors makes sense. And the installation is very easy, both attaching to the window frames and then activating with the iPhone app.

Easy to install and activate. Was a no worry product, probably took 30 seconds to add to app and register with base station. As far as attaching product to surface, you cant go wrong screwing them down. Be sure not to over tighten. The "peel and stick" method I never feel comfortable with so I always add a little adhesive calk to ensure they stay up. Mine are in extreme conditions for seasonal rentals and I cant afford to have mishaps if one drops off the surface and activates the alarm. A little extra piece of mind.....:)

I got my full system a while back and love how simple it is to set up. I like that unlike other systems, the monitoring feature can be month by month rather than signing up for a six month or years long contract. Their support has been awesome as well so far. All additional devices are easy to add such as extra sensors, cameras, key fobs, etc. If you want it to integrate with Google Home, it does need to have an active monitoring subscription on it, just as a heads up.

Cheap and easy! Very quick to set up and much more budget friendly

The sensors work in conjunction with the SimpliSafe base. You just attach to an entry point by peeling off the sticky backing, push the button on the sensor and program it with your app. The whole process takes a couple of minutes. The downside is that the sensor is pretty easy to take apart. This is great when you want to change out a battery but you have to be careful when pulling up shades or blinds. I’ve already had a few instances where I pull up my blinds and haven’t noticed the sensor pulled up off its sticky backing with the blind. I went not noticing it until I was in the SimpliSafe app and it alerted me one of my entry ways was open. I am more mindful of it now and it hasn’t been a problem since. You might give yourself a scare if you set the alarm, leave your house and then notice an entry way being shown as open.

Chose to add window sensors to our second floor. SimpliSafe has been a great addition to our home and for the safety of our family. When installing, I recommend mounting the "programming button" where it's easy to access; mount the sensors first and then have the remove keypad with you as you go around to the sensors to add them. Installation was a breeze and the size of the sensors makes them barely noticeable.

Easy to install and connect to the base station. I used the screws supplied to mount these in their locations, instead of the supplied double sided tape. Easy to line up, and when you go to connect, make sure to label them in your base keypad to make it easier to identify which entry sensor is which.

Overall good product. We use these exclusively and are easy to install, works properly. Only thing is the durability- at times- easy to break or crack

I'm happy that all of my entry points are now secured. I just wish the system recognized and pronounced the customized names more accurately.

These sensors are dead simple to install and get setup on your existing SimpliSafe system. We bought the SimpliSafe starter kit, but it didn't come with enough sensors to cover all the windows and doors, so I ended up having to buy these as well. In total, it took me more time to walk around the house and stick them where they needed to go than it did to bring them into the system. I would recommend following the instructions in the SimpliSafe app, rather than using the PIN pad installation. It's much faster in the app. I've had no issues with these dropping out from the system, or falling off the doors or windows. The adhesive is very strong.
