It really is grrat for our Simplisafe equity System.

Simplisafe came with 2 outside security cameras. We bought one extra battery so we wouldn’t have any downtime while having to charge batteries. Right now we are having issues keeping any of the batteries charged. They are rated to last 3-6 months. Right now we are only lasting 3-4 days. Trying to work with customer service to resolve the problem.

The battery is easily removed, recharged and replaced in the outdoor cameras. By buying one additional battery, given it's ability to hold a charge for months, there was no need to hard wire the camera or to purchase the options of an electric cord (to an outlet) or a solar panel. SimpliSafe has made it possible to monitor the status of the charge.

If you dont like the appearance of a solar panel and the cord, this extra battery makes the recharging experience much faster and easier. I have a lot of foot traffic in from of my house. The battery last as long as my indoor camera. It needs recharged every 3-4 weeks.

This is perfect for having a back up while changing out batteries. We keep it charged and just switch them out

This replacement battery for the outdoor Simplisafe camera works great. One battery is in the camera and the other can be charging so there's no downtime for the camera. Just swap out when they get low.

The battery I purchased works as it is supposed to. It was purchased as a backup battery.

I always keep an extra charged battery handy for my 3 outdoor cameras…. When needed, I simply swap it out and charge the dead one for next time… it eliminates the need of having a down camera for several hours while battery charges.

So far so good. I’ve only had to change it once and so far it lasts a long time. The camera is in a high traffic area with a turns on a lot. Battery life from full charge to empty took about 2 months.

Great to have a back up. That way you can always have your camera on.

I bought this battery as a backup for the one that comes with the SimpliSafe Outdoor Camera. A full charge lasts a long time, but because getting a full charge can take several hours, having a spare can quickly replace the one needing recharging, thus making camera down time negligible.
