As the Simpsons progressed thru their oddesy, it seems they lost their edge over time. However, we don't watch the Simpsons for the plots, we watch them for the moments. Season 12 has it's share. This season brought me my new favorite Homerline. He is in bed with Marge trying to talk her into renting out her womb to raise money. After her refussal, he says:" C'mon Marge, we're in this together. It's Utter-US; not Utter-You!"...Classic!

Awesome buy! A part of the funnier Simpsons when still felt fresh.

Having been a fan of this show since the very beginning, I must say that the writers simply blow me away. How can so many hilarious skits and ideas can come out of one group?? This season is filled with funny episodes. Buy it. Watch it. Laugh.

Seson Twelve is by far one of my favorite seasons, mainly because of the episode HOMR. For those of you who have read Daniel Keys story Flowers For Algernon, this episode shares a HUGE resemblence (Low IQ individual has an operation that makes him extremely smart, where he is then shunned by the rest of the community and eventually returns to his old self). They even have Homer face of in a reaction test against a white mouse (Algernon)! The other episodes are great too, such as the episode Trilogy Of Tragedy (or something like that), where you are always wondering where they will meet up. The only downside to this is (as with all animated cartoons except King Of The Hill) is that some of the episodes have such an unbelieveable plot that you donn't even really want to watch them. All in All though, this is a great season and should be picked up by all Simpsons fans.

Been taping the show since its debut December 1989. 20 years this year. About to start season 21. Wish the show was still good. I did NOT want to purchase this version of the DVD. I wanted the normal card board holder set but I could NOT because of where I purchased it. For when the show was still good but had lost the appeal from the previous seasons. Best show of the season for all of us internet hounds "The Computer Wore Menace Shoes". Homer as Mr X was good. From the stupid years when they started the season with the Treehouse of Terror episode AFTER Halloween. I hated this. Normal usual extras on the DVD's. TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, PACKAGE TO GET THE DVD'S OUT OF, HOW THIS WAS DESIGNED. Do NOT buy this UNLESS you want this collectors edition. Can NOT stack hard to get DVD's in & out

This was a really good season. I missed this season when it aired originally so It brought back a lot of memories. This is a great season to add The only thing I did not like about it was the inside packaging of the dvd's when you open it up it looks like a comic book and the dvd's are on the slip of it. All in all not a bad season the Homr episode so far is the funniest one.

The show was still great, starting to dip, but good. The bonus features are great. The commentaries alone show that the creators really care about the show
