Previous seasons had a few bad episodes intermixed here and there. This season started showing the real downturn in the Simpsons series. While it does still have a few good episodes, the majority are not that great.

Great extras but the writing is nowhere near the peak years of the show.

One of the best tree house of horrors is when Homer becomes death. And i love when the Simpsons go to England. The episode The President Wore Pearls is a total gem. Cosmic wars and robot wars make it a must have season.

On blu-ray the show looks great. too bad the writing isn't great. The bonus features are great. The commentaries alone show that the creators really care about the show

my son watches this show, and he said this season is pretty boring, so he didn't even finish watching them all.
