After being highly decorated for his wartime Royal Navy combat command actions, Douglas Fairbanks Jr. finally took on a movie role that let him show how much like his famous father he could be. With satisfying performances from the other leads, and a sterling supporting cast, this old-fashioned roguish action story hits its intended mark!

Love these old movies of action and drama. So many of the movies today just can't compare.

This is not as good as others of its kind staring Errol Flynn, Tyrone Power, or Burt Lancaster. I'm bummed.

This is a FUN movie! Fairbanks Jr leaps about as the rogue Sinbad, and uses his agility and brains to outwit the villains. Vibrant Technicolor saturates every scene.
