I am impressed with the beat buddy mini. This does not have all the other features that the big beat buddy has but it gets the job done. You WILL need a bass player if you want to have a full band if you play shows with this. You can still just do a drum and guitar to help you keep time. This will help you do it. With this beat buddy mini you will have some limitations to it. Go with the big beat buddy if you need to have more complex drum parts. For doing a bar gig or a coffee house gig or where space is limited this is a great unit. GET THE AUXILIARY FOOT SWITCH you will want it later so get it while you are ordering the beat buddy mini or regular beat buddy. It comes with the cord to hook it up so no worries there. The beat buddy mini comes with its own power supply OR if you are like me you have a snark power supply and a cord to plug in up to 15 pedals. You can do that too. This will all fit in your gig bag or on your pedal board. This is a must have for every musician and it is great for practice and jam sessions too. Get one and have some fun. Plan on getting the regular beat buddy. sooner or later you will be wanting one after using the beat buddy mini. If you need a drummer but cant afford to hire one get this instead and you are set.
