No reception/no help from Sirius "techs".
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Received as a Christmas gift, and couldn't wait to get it fired up. First one had damaged antenna and screen on radio indicated that. Wife was on the phone for over an hour on Christmas then finally told to take it back and get a new one. We brought the second one home and we were unable to get reception in our house. On the phone again for what felt like an eternity with Sirius and with multiple employees-which is always the case with Sirius! At one point they told us to move the antenna to another area in our house. This required moving the whole unit as we didn't want the antenna wire to be a trip hazard. We were then told to move the antenna in this direction/then that direction, then told to try it outside. Unplug antenna, and plug back in. Unplug whole unit for 5 minutes, plug it back in, unplug it for three minutes, plug it back in.....No one could remedy our problems. We were basically told that we can't get reception because of the trees by our house and that that may be causing the issue. Also told that it may not work in some parts of the house because of these issues. It didn't work anywhere. Great idea and loved the idea of this. I was looking forward to using this all the time, however-who wants to go through all of this every time you want to use it? So disappointed in this Sirius product. I guess I will just buy a Bluetooth speaker/dock and subscribe to Pandora One as it will be considerably cheaper. Thank you to Best Buy though, as both returns went smoothly and without a hassle.

Seemed Like A Good Idea
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fair warning: receiver antennae sporadic, temperamental. Couldn't get a clean, consistent signal no matter where we tried in the house. Sound was good for short while but frustrating. We returned.
