I used this kit to add SiriusXM to my Indian Roadmaster Motorcycle. It was very easy to mount the tuner with a RAM Mount to my passenger armrest, mount the antenna to the top of the tour pack/trunk, and power the receiver with the 12v power socket (also located inside of the tour pack/trunk). The Onyx EZR transmits via FM signal wirelessly to my motorcycles radio tuner. Works great!

Fast install it only took me around 20min, I mounted the antenna on the roof above rear glass without any wires visible.

It works like a charm and has excellent clarity. Very satisfied with the installation experience!

The Good - Great song choices. - Nice collection of Old and New Songs - My favorite Coffe House / Blend / Jazz- - Easy setup for Favorite Channel - Simple to navigate with remote. - I connect it with my Onkyo AVR Receiver, so sound quality gets bumped up. - Great for Stereo listening. The Bad- - Music quality will depend on your Speakers. - Will need a mini amp for quality bump up. - Signal may be an issue if you dont have a open space , given signal cable is small. - Low signal impacts Sound Quality.

My other Sirius receiver stopped working, but it was over 10 years old! PROs: I picked this model for price. Navigation is easy, not too large. And it fit in my existing dock in my car. They kept the same connectors. I had to download the manual, so I knew what features it offered. For example saving favorites or manually keying in the channel number. CONs: Despite the fact that it fit in my old dock, the power cord end is different from my previous model, so when I put it in the current dock in my car, it wouldn't power on! that was a bummer so I have to power it via my cigarette lighter and the power cord it came with, even though I had the previous one professionally installed so I didn't have to have cords hanging from unit to cigarette lighter. I think I'm going to splice the cords, so I don't have to run it from my cigarette lighter. screen color/font isn't very exciting, kind of simple and the font is small. This model does not have a remote and you can only save 10 channels with the numbers along the bottom. My last receiver I could save 30 channels.

My radio doesn’t pickup a lot of radio stations, and after listening to my usb stick for a year. I got tired of hearing the same stuff. With the Onyx I was able to change stations easily. The only real drawback are the wires connecting it to my radio and power.

The SiriusXM - Onyx EZR Satellite Radio with Vehicle Kit - Black is a great upgrade/addition to vehicles that are not satellite radio ready. Easy installation, and with additional docking can be moved to multiple vehicles.

Bought this for my Mustang and had it install by Best Buy’s audio tech. I want to mention that he did an amazing job installing it as I requested which was not as he had ever done. The receiver looks like it was installed as original equipment with no wires showing and the antenna placed inside on the rear shelf under the windshield. It has worked flawlessly, alleviating any concern that the system couldn’t get a clear line or satellite signal. Sitting under a bridge or in garage is an exception of course. Now I have great programs anywhere I go and in areas where my stock radio is worthless. Get one if you haven’t already.

I bought this to replace a receiver I had since the early days of Sirius which was starting to have problems. Store personnel were helpful in making the best choice. Activating the unit and transferring the subscription went well. Seems to be a quality unit. Anticipating many years of enjoyable listening.

Easy to understand / use. Reception has been perfect while using, mostly on camping trips. Compact and easy to transport.

I had an old unit that lasted 15 year's. This new unit is much easier to install and navigate.

The price was great and installing it in my vehicle was easier than expected, I love the choices that XM/Sirus Radio gives you. The only reason this is not 5 stars. I purchased 2 units, 1 for each car, but XM/Sirus Radio makes you purchase separate accounts for each unit, therefore I returned 1 unit and only 1 car has satellite radio. Really bummed about that.

Bought this radio to replace an older unit that quit working. The old radio was about 5 to 6 years old that’s in my wife’s car since it doesn’t have satellite radio built in. These little radios are handy for this setup and are pretty easy to install. I just set the radio antenna in the corner of the dash to make install easier and don’t have any problems with reception.

A no frills radio that will bring in Sirius XM clear as a bell, after the expert installation from Best Buy. I'm very pleased with the radio and the service I received. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested.

I only recently discovered that SiriusXM was offering 3 months free service to new subscribers and wanted to take advantage of it. This Onyx EXR not only came with everything needed to enjoy SiriusXM but it was so easy to install and get going. I was enjoying 100's of station channels in less than 40 mins. The Onyx is large enough to be easily visible but not distractive and shows all the information you need to enjoy your SiriusXM service.

My sister bought a new Mazda CX-5 - it did not come with Sirius as she got a Sport model (I think it was a sport). Kind of crazy how not every car comes equipped with Sirius, and did you notice they are starting to not install CD players? Grrr. Great deal on this during Christmas, I like the fact it can be moved around from vehicle to house, etc but you do have to buy the doo hickey to plug it into to do that.
