used in car, fairly responsive to buttons, has dash/suction mount and vent mount options. Needs external antenna (magnetic mount) but I tried just placing the antenna on the top of the dashboard and it picked up stations, but it is kinda messy w/ all the wires hanging out. 2 options to get the audio, either have a "Aux In" port on your existing car radio or use the "FM" modulator to find a FM station that is not being used. I used the Aux in cable on my aftermarket stereo deck. Does have a Signal Reception option to test the signal being received. Uses the cigarette lighter port for 12v power. Have to "route" all the cable from the unit to the "A" pillars, headliner, doors, rubber stripping etc for the antenna. Double stick tape is used for the mounting of the antenna to your car. The black color cable might show a bit on the outside, depending on how it is installed. I think this is a "introduction" to SatXM radio but you have to deal w/ all the external hardware, wiring etc.

Bought this because the lake we go to has very poor cellular coverage. The price was just a little more than 1 year of promotional service, and it included a boating season worth of service, so we thought, "why not?" Came with the "car mount" kits, which ended up working well on the pontoon captains consul. Since I was putting the antenna on fiberglass, not metal, I adhered the antenna (less than 2x2 inches) using clear silicon worked perfectly! The 10 programmable "favorites" button is more than enough for my favorite stations. Also, since I am using this in the sun and wearing sun glasses, the screen has an option to reverse black/white for better visibility in day or night conditions. For the money, you can't go wrong. Highly recommend satellite service if you don't have other streaming options.

it is what i needed, wish the antenna was better. Everything works well install was ok except for cracking the dash. i understand tho it is a 2005 so . but all & all id recommend the product. most cars come with the sirrus already there

This radio is easy to install and use. It has a good display, but would have been nicer in color.

Got this item for free during a promo sale . Bought a $50 xm gift card and received the radio for free. I have one of these in one of my older vehicles and it works great. The installation was super easy and the radio worked perfectly. I like the fact it can be taken out of my truck and used in the house with the XM boom box .

Great device. Works exactly as described. Portable & allows you to plug into speaker doc, or a home kit attached to your stereo or even to a vehicle radio system such as an older vehicle to receive satellite signal for Sirius xm Radio. Great device used to receive signal in lieu of using internet.

Gets a good signal on our boat. Did have to buy an extra wire to connect via USB rather than Bluetooth. Setup was pretty easy. Wish it would be included in my Sirius package, rather than having to add it separately. If didn't go to bad cell reception/signal areas, would probably just use the app my phone for free.

Have been a Sirius XM subscriber for a while. I needed a new receiver for my truck, and I found this one on sale. It is great. It works great and was easy to install. It took less than 30 minutes to install. The longest part was running and hiding the antenna wire from view.

Solid. Worked for my car needs while traveling. Easy to set up and I highly recommend it. What Inlove is that you can take it from your car to your home if you have the right connectors.
