I've been eyeing this product for several months and finally decided to purchase this item. I must say it was a very good purchase. The antenna was easy to install (and I've never installed anything on a car) and the wires are well hidden if you follow the book directions. I have had no reception issues at all and I've driven 50 miles away from home on the same frequency. I love how the application for the iPhone for this particular product allows for 10 easy to view and select favorite channels. Great product and highly recommended to anyone who wants to try XM radio. I know I won't be going back anytime soon!

I had been looking for a product i can use to listen to music from my phone without having wires everywhere and i finally found this product yesterday (9/13/12). It was easy to install myself, wires are easy to hide, and greatest thing about it it has an FM transmitter, XM Sirius Radio, where you can listen to internet radio. I don't subscribe to XM radio, but I have other radio applications on my phone where I can listen to Live online radio through my phone for free, through this device. This is a great product & i recommend it to everyone.

I have looking for ways to hook my I phone 4G to my car radio for some time because I like to listen to Slaker Radio & Pandora. I found cables that had to be installed, other FM transmitters that didn’t work, and even thought about replacing my factory radio, (that would be a major expense and install). I bought the Skydock thinking that if it didn’t work or if I were forced to buy a subscription I would take it back. I went out to the parking lot open the box and within 15 min I had the Skydock up and running, and found out that I had no need for a subscription or the supplied antenna. I live near Houston TX and have no trouble with static or ghost reception.

Easy to setup/use. I live in Orange County and had static on every channel from included FM wireless transmitter. I had BestBuy install a FM Direct Adapter that sends satellite transmission direct to my car radio and static is now gone. The sound is crisp! Install and adapter total cost $95- Required for Sirius/XM complete potential.Very happy!!!!!!

I think this was a great way for me to get satellite radio without having to actually by a radio. Easy to connect, easy to start, fairly easy to use. The only issue is that it has to be plugged into the cigarette lighter and can't use a cord to allow it be positioned somewhere else.

I have had XM radio in my car for years now and this is a great product. Traveling around the state, I am used to having good quality music/news and this was a great, affordable product. The only draw-back is turning the Sky Dock and iPod Touch off due to having to turn both off when done listening to music. However there is probably an easy way to do that I have not figured out. For the money and self installation, I am very pleased with this product.

If you love satellite radio then you must have this. It took only a minute to plug it in and have it working. I didn't put the antenna on my roof but I still get perfect reception from putting in on my dash. It is perfect for someone that has more then one car or goes on vacation and rents cars a lot. It even has stock quotes and keeps you up to date on your favorite sports team. I added the best of sirius to get the Stern show and it is great. I have a lot of different sirius radios but this one may be the coolest one yet. I guess the only thing that could make it better would be headphone like the stiletto so you can listen as you walk too.

I just left my local Best Buy and am now the proud owner of the XM SkyDock. I was looking to get a new XM Radio as my SkiFi had official quit working. The associate told me that they just got in this new SkyDock and because I have the iPhone I wouldn't need to buy a new XM radio and could actually turn my iPhone into an XM Radio! The best idea ever. Thanks for the bright folks at SIRIUS XM for giving all of us iPhone owners a cool, great sounding and very useful dock.

Please be careful. This should be listed as , if Frequency available. I travel the Gulf Coast area and even though radio- locator lists available empty stations, there is a constant hiss and static on your audio. I have the APP on an IPOD-Touch 64G, 3rd GEN with latest software. From the backwoods of Mississippi to the Pan handle of Florida Hiss and static. The audio quality of an old AM radio. It would be neat if audio quality was better. Had Sirius Sporster before in same areas no problem. Probably due to Government scale down on FM of Dock products. Buy the IPOD phone and stream over 3G.

I wanted to love this thing. Seriously, my hopes were high - what a great idea, providing a really excellent XM interface, tagging of songs for later purchase, etc. Unfortunately, the implementation just doesn't do it. Biggest problem? You have to have your iPod/iPhone docked to even listen to the XM. That's right, no matter if you're just making a quick trip down to the store, if you want to listen to XM radio, you're going to have to drag out the iPod, uncase it (depending on your case, of course), and dock it. The XM receiver is in the dock, not in the iPod. The receiver should be able to work, and at least play the last station you were listening to, regardless of whether the iPod is docked. Not to have this ability is just stupid, lazy engineering. Further, you also can't modify XM parameters unless the iPod is docked. Which is to say that the only way to edit/adjust your favorites is to have the device docked way down there wherever your 12V outlet is. One should definitely be able to remove the iPod, bring it up to eye level and add/remove/reorder favorite channels. There's no good reason that the device should need to be docked simply to modify your favorites. Crazy. I don't want to make this review totally negative. Aside from the docking issue, this is a great product. The hardware seems sturdy, the connections are easy, and the interface is gorgeous. If you can deal with the docking problems, you'll love it. Hopefully, these are issues that can be addressed with a firmware update, or a modification of the iPod app. If not, it's doomed.

If you own a late model vehicle and you have an Iphone or Ipod, this product is great. It charges the phone while in use and the commercial free Satellite Radio is way better then your FM locals. It will also play your Itunes (MP3s). XM has a great product here and being an owner of the Belikin device that played thru the radio, it is far more superior in quality and sound. Thanks XM!!

Driving with a SkyDock in the car is a whole new experience! XM Radio to start is a great alternative to the same 25 songs played on terrestrial radio. With the SkyDock you'll not only have that added feature on your iPhone, but you'll be able to use the built in FM transmitter to listen to iPod or Pandora music as well. Setup is easy, and if you're inclined, installation of the antenna is not a problem.

Easy to install & get up & Running Easy to see & change chanels. Sound is great & also can use Ipod for your own music

Stabilzes my iphone while driving, allowing it to charge, and access SiriusXM radio at the same time. Easy to use Itunes feature. Very affordable compared to other retail satellie radios, considering its extra function being a Iphone user. Battery life is no longer an issue, I can always detatch seconds from listening to music, and leave my car fully charged. Very very nice!!

Only had 1 problem w/ radio not powering up. My biggest problem was w/ Best Buy took it back to swap in at store and they didn't have another 1 told me I had to wait til 5 days later when next truck comes in.after talking w/ manager and 3 other employees they said they think 1 will be on truck that night and they would call me 1st thing that morning. Never received that call so when I went by that afternoon luckily it did show just never called me or emailed me.

This was a cinch to install. I took like 5 minutes and the built in FM transmitter made it all the more easier. I am very impresses by the sound and easy. If you have an iPhone or iPod, buy this for your car.

Excellent product. XM SkyDock expands your iPhone to include satellite radio. This device is very easy to set up (actually a true plug-n-play) and channels satellite stations directly through your car stereo via FM transmitter. Having the option of listening to commercial free XM satellite radio definitely makes getting stuck in LA traffic very enjoyable!

Works great and no static or other issues. Awesome. No installation into vehicle. If sell car just unplug from car in 10mins and done. Buyahhhh

What a great product! plug it into the cig lighter, pop in your iphone and viola - perfect sound. I used the aux in cable to attach it to my Pioneer deck, simple and easy. Incoming calls dim the sound so you can answer, and incoming texts pop right up over the xm application. Highly recommended.

Sirius XM works great. Also allows you to play ipod or any other app through the car speakers even without XM service.
