I think the original Sister Act deserves 5 out of 5 stars. The sequel, in my opinion, is inferior but still entertaining; I’d rate it at 3.5 out of 5 stars. This 20th anniversary double feature package is a good bargain. It includes both films on Blu-ray as well as standard DVD. The digital transfers are above average for a films of this era. Video and audio quality is quite good. I recommend this product to fans of these films who want to own physical copies of them for a low price.

Both movies have Whoopi Goldberg as a nun: 1. She goes undercover after witnessing a murder 2. She tries to help a struggling class find their voices

These movies were musical, funny & uplifting. It’s sad Whoopi forgot about being an actress.

The 1993 classic Sister Act. The hit of 1993 that surprised everybody nobody really thought it was going to be a hit but it turned out to be the biggest hit of the summer of 1993 coming out of nowhere surprising everybody. Whoopie Goldberg.. was well known for movies like ghost but Sister Act just propelled her to a different height. Great music nice Supporting Cast of different people which helped will be seal this movie as a classic. Plus you get Sister Act 2 which was not quite as good as the original Sister Act but it also propelled another person into theme Lauryn Hill. This gave people their first view of Lauryn Hill and how good her voice was back then she still sings on occasion but this is when you got to see her real tone for music. Sister Act 2 Step It Up with the music but this time instead of the nuns you have kids and you see some real talent for singing in Sister Act 2. They're both well worth having for anyone who loves a good movie.

I enjoyed both of these movies. The singing and the dancing were great!

This is a classic movie can't go wrong, and I couldn't beat the price.

I had a $5 Rewards Certificate to use and happened upon this set of DVD/Blu Ray of two of my favorite films. I have a Blu Ray player and a new 4K TV (recently purchased from Best buy) so by adding a bit more to the coupon price, I got this - to replace the two VHS tapes I had of these two movies. The picture and sound are GREAT and you really see detail and colors (esp of Reno/Las Vegas strips). My only complaint would be that the two videos in the Bonus Features section of the Blu Ray do not display properly. What little you see is just a small fragment of the pic, even though the audio plays fine. Perhaps this individual Blu Ray disc is defective, but the movies are fine, so I will keep it. It's a funny movie - and one IMHO, should be in every collection.

Sister Act and Sister Act 2 have long been movies that I love. I've honestly seen these movies at least 100 times each in my life. So when they were released on Blu-Ray, I was very excited. Finally, these movies will... be on blu-ray. We all know these aren't the type of movies that require blu-ray level of quality, but it's nice to see them that way.

I love the face of having these 2 great films on standard dvd and Blu-ray formats. There are 3 separate discs of the 2 formats, let's say you have a Blu-ray player in your living room but only a standard in another room or even computer.

This movie takes me back to when I first saw these films in theaters. hilarious just like the first time I saw them great buy.

Old classic comedies - two for one! Whoopi before she became a screaming liberal mouthpiece. She was just funny then.. Good message in the stories as well

You cannot go wrong with Sister Act and it was a great price at Best Buy. Fun for everyone and a lot of laughter, which is needed in today's serious world.

This package is a great buy with two movies for the price of one. The cast is amazing and the story is good.

Nice packaging of both the two films. Does not take up alot of space of the movie shelf.

Love these films. They aren't cinematic masterpieces, but they are fun (and the transfers look good as well). Definitely worth the low price.
