I love this movie and can watch over and over….A must have for your dvd collection.

One of Harrison Ford's funniest. He actually flies the plane in this movie. Ford has a pilots licencse.

Purchased movie that I have watched a couple of times before.

Harrison Ford and Anne Heche headline this film as an experienced pilot named Quinn (Ford) and a workaholic magazine editor from New York named Robin (Heche) who wind up on a prop plane together after Robin is called to Tahiti to supervise a fashion event. At the same time, Robin is also invited by her boyfriend Frank to spend a week holidaying with him on the island of Makatea. Not long after taking off, Quinn and Robin end up getting caught in a thunderstorm and eventually make a crash landing on a deserted island. If I can remember correctly, I believe one of Robin's friends and Quinn's co-pilot Angelica may have made their own way to Makatea in another plane, considering that both Quinn and Robin are the only two that end up crash landing. In any case, they both fortunately survive. They are also quick to blame one another for their newfound predicament. Not long after, the two learn to set aside their differences to focus on their survival. Despite her boyfriend Frank's proposal, in which she previously accepted, Robin suddenly realizes that she may have feelings for Quinn and vice versa. This goes on for a while, while we discover that her boyfriend Frank ends up violating Robin's trust by having a one night stand with Quinn's co-pilot Angelica. Not long after, Quinn and Robin end up getting chased down by pirates, whom they successfully evade by jumping from a cliff into the ocean. Later on, it is revealed that they were actually camping out next to a World War II era Japanese plane that appears to be in rough shape, but is still usable for spare parts. With that in mind, Quinn and Robin get to work by using the plane's spare parts to fix their plane. Once the plane is fixed, the two fly to Makatea, (their original destination before crash landing on the remote island) just in time for their funerals. At the same time, Frank feels terrible about his one night stand with Angelica, but doesn't have the courage to tell Robin about it. Not long after, Robin goes to the hospital to visit Quinn and tells him her true feelings, but he brushes it off. Robin then decides to go back to New York with Frank, but while at the airport in Tahiti, she suddenly realizes that she isn't able to go. At this point, Frank finally confesses to Robin that he had a one night stand with Angelica while Robin tells Frank about her feelings for Quinn. They both agree that they aren't really in love and she gives him back the engagement ring. Quinn suddenly changes his mind about Robin and quickly makes his way to the airport. After successfully stopping Robin's flight, he approaches her. The film ends with the two embracing each other and kissing. To sum it all into perspective, although this film is worth watching, Harrison Ford has definitely had better films. "Six Days, Seven Nights" still provides good entertainment, though!

We had never heard of this movie. We just bought it because of the actors. It did not disappoint. It had a lot of suspense in it. Good movie.

I love this movie! the actors did a terrific job in it. No nudity, suggestive but not too bad. It's mostly funny but does have a few dramatic parts. I happen to like Harrison Ford & Ann Heche both are good in this movie.

Some great lines!! "I've flown with you twice and you've crashed half the time!" Ann's facial expressions are priceless!!

We love this movie. Good actors, witty and smart. It has a good plot with just enough comedy. The movies today are just not good.

Great Movie! Action, Romance, Tropic setting. Although not Available in Blu ray the DVD quality is excellent.

Came sooner than expected and is a fun movie to a watch

I'm not a romantic comedy kind of guy, but this movie has enough action and head butting to hold my attention. It's a fun vacation gone awry.

One of my favorite movies. Filmed in Hawaii I've lived in Hawaii. Brought back good memories. Great entertainment.
