I began watching this series when it debuted on HBO but lost track of it along the way due to my busy schedule, so when I found the DVD series, I immediately purchased it so I could catch up with what I had missed! I am so glad that I did purchase this to add to my DVD collection. I think Alan Ball is a magnificent writer and this DVD series depicts this!

I've been looking to purchase the complete series for years and have only found limited results sold online, with most of them being used. Was surprised to see it on the shelf randomly just one day.. Only saw two available including the one in my hand, didn't leave my hand until at the register.

I can watch this series over and over again. It's very well written and it has the best ending of any television show! Simply amazing!

Who would have thought funeral homes had so much intrigue and humor! Saw this series when it originally aired. So excited to watch it all again from the beginning!

Bought as gift for wife, not sure why she likes this series, but she loves it. All the discs were of good quality and no issues. Do not worry about being standard format since it's a dark story anyways.

Very interesting series considering it revolves around a funeral home and how a family's life is affected by this business.
