one of the best shows out there. you really become part of the family. best series finale I've ever seen!!!

I am not finished watching yet, but this is an interesting HBO show. The character development is good.

'Six Feet Under' is simply a total gem. It will grab you from the first episode within minutes-literally- and you won't be able to turn back! For me, a test of good writing is if you find yourself thinking about the characters outside of what has been presented to you; if you wonder about this person you've watched, then they have become real to you. It's in your watching their plights and scenarios and thinking about the hows, whys and what ifs behind the scenes shown that you find true art. This is also the crux of what good writing, directing and acting is all about. It doesn't hurt that within every episode we glimpse ordinary, completely real and relatable people grappling with the ultimate mystery of life, which is trying to understand the ultimate unknown: death.

I bought this box set for myself on CyberMonday (the Monday after Thanksgiving) last year for a third of its retail price, and I wasn't disappointed. There are good extras for most seasons and the commentary is insightful if you're interested in the "behind the scenes" background info. All 5 seasons plus both sountrack discs in a really ingenious astroturf-and-tombstone package = a great buy.

This show is so well done and the ending will have you saying WOW!! Not because there's anything shocking but because they leave no loose ends and make you think of your own life in terms of death (no not in a morbid way). Pick this up!

Great Packaging, Interesting box ( Looks Like Dirt with grass on top ), Discs in Predictable order. Haven't looked at extras yet , but it looks like there is plenty there.

I love this series. The acting is excellent. The show is awesome, must watch!!
