Ok when I watch films I do so on a 180" movie theater screen with full 7.1 surround sound and the Buttkicker transducer system. This is not to Boast but to give an idea of the clarity that I rate both 4k and 1080p films. 1st off regardless if you are huge into 4k or still collect Blu-ray; I will add that with today's (Oppo) upscaling technology along with upscaling technology on theater projectors that the difference between Blu-ray & 4k is minimal. I will say that going over 180" that you will likely see a difference and recommend 4k for 150"+ screens. I really like Six on the big screen. The sound is incredible and I catch myself looking over my shoulder when they mix a good sound effect. Some (if not most) tactics are standard and most who served in the armed forces will notice what on/off in a scene. Moving away from what real and not (this is a story after all) I think people should watch this season. Life in the service of our country comes at a cost. I'm not commenting on the story nor context as films that feature combat don't usually sit well with me as entertainment. However if you like combat films this is another one to add to the list.

Awesome series that I was glad to find. Well worth a watch

This is one of the best series on modern warfare I have seen in a long time.It is very well written and the actors are completely believable, not to mention a story that hits on all the controversial issues facing the modern soldier.I cannot wait until season number two hits the screen, have already told three of my friends not to miss it.

If your a fan of other military series such as the "Unit" or "Strikeback" etc, you will like this series but, it has a more realistic, unsettling twist. Sometimes emotion (fear, anger) over ride training leading to questionable or illegal actions with far reaching consequences.

One of the best shows on TV looks even better on bluray. The first season just ended a few weeks ago and the blu is ALREADY for sale... Kinda tells me they need the extra money to continue for season.. We can only hope season 2 gets the green light... Great story , great action !!

I have finished the first disk of this two disk set and it is AWESOME! The cast is excellent and look very much like they ARE SEALS in their builds and mannerisms. The action is believeable and very well done. The character portrayals are very believeable and very watchable.

Got this gift for my dad then got one for myself. It's an amazing show that you will not be disappointed if you watch it. Service was great and I actually think it took me longer to walk in to the store than it did for them to bring me the item

Timely, tense and well acted. I thought it might be just another routine series capitalizing on current events, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well done it was. Can't wait for season 2. Might even buy another one if it goes on sale.

I was a bit dubious about this TV show when I picked it up off the shelf and bought it on a whim. I was very pleasantly surprised and I've enjoyed the show immensely looking forward to season 2.

Nicely balanced between home life and missions. Characters fleshed out pretty good. Blu Ray itself is a bit confusing on disc 2. Episode menu hard to see that all 8 episodes are listed.

This is about a team of Navy Seals dealing with the stress of the job and their personal lives. There are 8 episodes which have action and a good story line. I hope it gets renewed.

Excellent series. Wish it was longer than 8 episodes, and hoping they make a second season. The setup of the episodes on the second disc was abnormal, but got it figured out.

I never saw this on History Channel, but decided to purchase Season 1; actually pretty good series somewhat similar to a TV series entitled "The Unit" about Delta Team SF unit.

If you didn't catch all of Six this season or you want your own copy of all episodes, then this is a must buy. Darn good footage of combat action scenes throughout. Must buy!

After the Launch of Vikings by the History Channel I became hooked on their original programming. When SIX was broadcasted they hit another one out of the park.

read about this series and i love pretty much anything military, i had to see it. if you like special ops and what they go through, this is an awesome series

Includes additional footage not aired on the tv series including actor interviews, bonus scenes. Music selections makes this even more appealing.

This was series was produced very well. I watched it on History Channel and enjoyed it so much that I went and picked up a Blu-Ray copy.

History Channel knocked it out of the park with this series! This is a show that I can watch over and over. Can't wait for Season 2!!
