One of my all time favorite movies. Was so happy to hear it came out on blue ray. Now I can enjoy watching it in HD on my HDTV.

What can you say about Molly Ringwald and John Hughes working together.. They had a bond that translated onto film beautifully.

Bought this one for my daughter, she loves this movie and I must admit I like it too.Its great on blu ray on my big tv!

For my generation is a must have and even those outside of this era can associate with its comedic attributes.

No matter that this was in the 80's, it has stood the test of time. It's so well written and funny. a timeless comedy.

If you are a John Hughes fan, the film itself merits 5 stars. However, the picture quality of the blu-ray is only decent and it could be far improved with either a 2K or 4K remaster.

Maybe the most seminal 80s teen comedy ever? Beautiful transfer.

What can I say, we have a 16 year old daughter, it's classic and holds up better than most movies from the 80's.

This us my wife's favorite she love romantic comedies the Granddaughters sat with my wife to watch this.

My favorite Milky Ringwald movie of all time. Highly entertaining and better than most recent teenage comedies.

This is one of my wife's favorite movies. She was so excited to find it in the clearance bin at the store.

The film is a classic of 80's comedy. Any film buff should have it in their library. However, those who have not seen it should be forewarned of the character, Long Duk Dong. Similar to other films such as Breakfast at Tiffany's, Sixteen Candles suffers from a terrible Asian stereotype for comedic effect that to contemporary audiences is anything but funny. Controversy of the Long Duk Dong character aside though, Sixteen Candles is a wonderful film that should be a part of any library and with this edition its a price that can't be beat.

Awesome 80s films, beautiful blu ray with slip from Arrow.

Still a favorite even after so many years! Would recommend revisiting if you haven't watched recently.
