Great and fun game. My Husband loves it! There is a lot of profanity in this game. I don't think that's necessary. I wouldn't want a child playing this game and learning these words!

This game is amazing. If you skate it is a must have. THe map is huge and just skating around is always fun. the only things i dislike about it is the walking controls aren't very good, no multiplayer freeskate, and some challenges are very difficult. Overall best skating game ever, and you should definately get it if you were considering it.

this is a must buy game, even if you dont skate, and if you skate you shouldnt be reading this, you should already own this game, or have it planned to buy on the 22nd. i have been playing skate 1 since day 1 and still play. very realistic, not like any tony hawk!!!! i just downloadied the demo for skate 2, all i have to say is aaaaaaaaaamazing!! you can move object where ever you want, not just in one little area, and the graphics are just super sweet now! trust me and just buy this game, you will love it!

This is a great skateboarding game. The skateboarding tricks are realistic, unline the Tony Hawk Games. In this game, you really have to fine-tune your skills to pull off hard tricks. In Tony Hawk, you just mash several buttons at the same time and you do flips and spins over buildings. The replay feature is great!! You can create your own realistic skate-videos.

This is by far the BEST skateboarding game... ever!!! If you'd played the first SKATE game, you would know what this game's all about. Its even better than the first. For people that likes the Tony Hawk series of games wherein you push a single button to do kickflips and grinds, this is not even close to that. This is so much more realistic. Controls are not for kids! lol. If you skate in real life, this game is a must have!

overall great game! just got it yesterday and played for about 3 hrs the enviroment is huge just skated around and did some challenges and still havent seen every part of the map! fun challenges variety of new tricks, my only complaint is the pedestrians get in the way and walking controls are kinda sketchy. Go buy it!

I bought the first skate when it came out and I really liked it. I bought skate 2 he first day it came out. I'm impressed. The map is a lot easier now that you can transport really anywherwe you want. It doesnt show the streets, but thats not a big deal to me. The graphics are so much better now, ecspecially on my 1080p hdtv. The getting off the board controls are a little wierd, but its not too bad. I love how you can move stuff around, i figured out that if you move something it stays there until a pedestrian moves it, even if you restart it will still be there. The bail controls are really neat because while falling you can do a dive, spread eagle, cannonball ect. This time you can actually get money by doing good bails. There is a much faster cash flow in skate 2 which allows me to buy more. There are twice as many tricks you can do now like handplants, hippie hump ect. There is really no story like the first skate. Its a sequal to skate because it actually talks about what you did in skate 1(being skater of the year). Over all this game is awsome and there is really no reaso not to buy it, so buy it. Its worth it!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutly the best skating game ever made, i doubt tony hawk could make a come back.

If you've ever played a tony hawk game before, you will utterly HATE this game. The controls are just an absolute mess. With tony hawk it takes about 5 minutes to figure your way around... With skate 2 it takes hours to get out of a bowl...

this game is by far the worst game i have ever brought. If you like tony hawk do not buy this one. tony hawk is by far the best skateboarding game franchise out there. do not buy this game
