Nostalgic look at the roller disco fad also Patrick Swayze's movie debut, Blu Ray really makes it watchable

I remember seeing this as a kid in the theater. As a roller skater myself this and Roller Boogie were huge for me. I waited forever for this to be released on DVD...Finally! and a Great Soundtrack!

So, this is a weird movie where a town is OBSESSED with roller skating, to the point there are competing dollar skating gangs in heated competition. I'd put it in the same category as Breakin' or Rappin'. But the real problem is whoever was put in charge of releasing the blu ray was a cheap scumbag. Literally the only Blu ray I own, where when you put it in, it just plays. No menu screen, no chapters. You can't pause, rewind or forward it. And no extras. So if it ever gets scratched you can basically throw it away, because you can't forward past it. DO NOT BUY THIS.
