In the world of budget true wireless earbuds, the Skullcandy Dime True Wireless In-Ear Headphones stand out as a solid contender. They offer a commendable blend of design, comfort, sound quality, and battery life at an affordable price point. While they may not compete with higher-end models in terms of audio fidelity or advanced features, the Dime earbuds excel where it matters most: delivering a satisfying listening experience for the average consumer. If you're in the market for budget-friendly earbuds that don't compromise on performance, the Skullcandy Dime is definitely worth considering.

Better than Skullcandy Indy's

This product is amazing, I used other products by Skullcandy like the Skullcandy Indy's and I wanted to upgrade because I grew frustrated with those and I bought these, and all I can say is I love these, These earbuds have better sound quality, comfortability, technology and are pretty simple and clean, but I will say the battery on each bud is low but its no major problem because the case charges them quickly, Overall I think these are good earbuds for only around 20 dollars

Love these little things, I use them for the gym and they are perfect. They don’t fall out even if I’m running full speed or lifting heavy. I traded in my sesh Evo for these because of their size, the Evos looked giant on my ear and I even had to buy smaller ear plugs for them. These fit with the small attachment out of the box which is nice and they look small and classy. Sound quality is good, especially for the price and it’s so convenient to have in my keychain so I never forget them. 10/10 would recommend

These are pretty decent headphones for the price. They charge quickly and easy to store. Pretty simple to connect, and has a decent sound quality. The only part I disk like is the rubber part on the dead phone that pop out from the case, which gets dirty.

>> Overview
Skullcandy Dime headphones are an affordable and, so far, remarkable pair of true wireless in-ear headphones. They have a crisp sound and long battery life. With a compact carrying and charging case, they are easy to carry in your pocket and can save you if you need headphones right away. You don't really need to spend a hundred dollars or more on a true wireless device, this pair may just be enough.
Pros: compact case, easy to carry, affordable, long battery.
Cons: limited bass.
>> Sound
The Sound coming out of this pair is very crisp and clear, it makes phone calls delightful, so it is ideal for that purpose. With that being said, the bass is a little limited, so for listening to music, and especially if you are an audiophile, you may not enjoy as much as desired the sound coming out of the Skullcandy Dime.
The only potential annoying thing I’ve noticed so far is that sometimes when listening to some shows on my laptop (not my phone), there is a kind of echo coming out of the device, I am not sure what it is, perhaps it is the computer.
Regardless, I think Skullcandy delivers and impresses as expected, and the limitations are somewhat expected for the category this device belongs to.
>> Charging Case
The charging case is a good selling point, it is small and compact, very convenient to carry around. You can put it as part of your keys you carry around, if you are still the type of person like me who prefers physical keys for the house and car. Even if you are one of those who manages everything through your cellphone, this case fits easily in your pocket so you can take it anywhere and have your headphones at hand when needed.
>> Other Notes
A few things to consider:
- I initially wasn’t able to adjust the volume pressing on the side of the headphones, but it looks I was just pressing it wrong. So, it is a good idea to review the manual that comes with the device to learn its operation.
- If you only use the left earbud, it won’t tell you it needs to recharge, it will just turn off. Only the right one has that capability.
- No lights to pinpoint the headphones are fully charged, they just go from red to dark. So, not sure if the whole thing is charged or the case charger run out of battery itself.

Let me start off with this if you’re wondering if they’re any good for this price, the answer is a resounding yes. Most of the cuts that were made to accomplish the low price are mainly in the charging case and battery life. There is no wireless charging and charging is done via micro USB cable. The battery is so-so at 3.5 hours and the charging case allowing for 2 full charges. You still get IPX4 certification so it’s safe to work out with them. Styling is very subtle resembling key fobs. Skullcandy even included a lanyard loop to attach them to your keys.
As for sound quality, they sound pretty good. There is some bass to them but not heavily emphasize but just enough to stand out. Sound is lacking in the depth department but overall they sound much better than some other headphones around this price range. You even get Bluetooth 5.0 on board.
Instead of touch controls, they have a single multi-use button. The controls are simple to use for example single tap for play/pause, double-tap for volume adjustment, press down for 1 second to skip/backtrack and tap 3 times to activate Google/Siri. Multiple ear size tips are included to accommodate different ear sizes. They’re comfortable to be used for extended periods of time. If they start to hurt your ear I would suggest changing the ear tip.
Overall Skullcandy did the right cuts and made sure to still focus on providing good audio quality. Of course, some of the obvious features like micro USB charging and lack of wireless charging stand out. But for the asking price, I rather take those cuts there instead of the audio side of things.

Skullcandy Dime Earbuds
The sound quality is decent. Ease of use is excellent. The charging cable is USB. The charging case has an attachment for your keychain so you can take them anywhere you go.And these earbuds seem solid when placed in your ears. The unit comes with two alternative sized earbud covers. The price is right, inexpensive. These earbuds we’re not designed to compete with those that cost hundreds of dollars. The earbuds are waterproof. There really isn’t anything to like.

They are comfortable, compact, long lasting, cheap and sound good. I genuinely dont think there is a better deal in bluetooth earbuds. Sure you can find some with better audio quality but they are 4 or 5 times the price. I also love how small the carry case is, it fits comfortably in my pocket all day.

I really like the size of these. The charging case is small and can easily be misplaced. They fit good in your ear and don’t fall out. my only complaint is accessing it using the push button the the outside of the headphones are really hard to push and I find myself taking them out to push the button. The different plastic pieces are good for different sound types, treble and bass. Charging doesn’t take long. Overall these are good starter set.

SkullCandy Dime wireless bluetooth earphones
I really like these tiny wireless earphones. So far I have had no issues pairing them with new Samsung and older LG phones as well as a Samsung smart monitor that has TV smart apps for private TV viewing late at night.
I am told my phone conversations sound good and that no one suspected I was using bluetooth earphones when I asked how I sound.
I appreciate the gradual step up of the volume by double tapping the right side earphone push button - it does not crank up too loud too quickly for TV or music playing.
The left earphone double pushes for lowering the volume. The only issue is that the buttons require a bit of pressure so for some it may be a bit painful to push the button twice while in the ears.
Battery life is good in the units and it recharges in the recharging case.
The case recharges itself with any micro USB 5volt phone charge (standard for the USB line) . It includes a micro USB charging cable for plugging the standard USB A plug into any USB port or phone charger. It does not include a charger adapter.
The price is great and although these do not have ANC (automatic noise cancelling) I dont consider that a negative for the price.

These ear buds are great, the case has a little loop that honestly makes it for me, I've lost a couple of these guys before so now I keep it attached to my keys so I never forget to put them back in their case! The audio quality and comfort is excellent! Especially for the price - Skullcandy for like $30 get outta here! I thought there was a catch it was too good to be true. Turns out there is one catch but it is potentially fixable, still trying to figure it out - sometimes it has difficulty pairing or only one is paired or something and all I know is I hear on the phone that they can barely hear me when I have my earbuds in and otherwise they can usually hear me fine so that's the only reason it's getting four stars really it's a 4.5 all update it if it turns out it's user error!

Truly wireless budget headphones

I’ve used a wide range of headphones and have had a few truly wireless earbuds like these Skullcandy Dime headphones. However, I found these to be among the worst I have ever used.
On the good side of things, I really like the case design. I liked being able to see that the earbuds are in the case or not and I liked the flat design of the case so that it fits a little better in the pocket compared to ones that are more rounded. The sound quality isn’t the best, but also not the worst I have ever had. The battery life is about 3.5 hours with a little over 2 more charges worth from the case alone.
The reason I find these to be the worst I have ever used is in the design of the earbuds themselves. The function button is nearly impossible to use without any pressure, meaning you had to really push into your ear or try and squeeze the little piece that sticks out. Most other headphones react to simple touch, while these actually require button pushing. This wouldn’t be bad if it was on a wire, but being directly in the ear really makes it awkward and cumbersome. It is really difficult to get the doubletap and extended timing touches down unless you were squeezing the tip between your fingers.
The shape of the earbud is also odd as I could never get a solid fit or keep it in the ear. I think it is mainly due to the generic round shape of the earbud instead of the oblong shape of others I have used. It has no real way of hooking into the ear so it solely relies on the suction of the rubber in the ear. Maybe if the shape was a bit more ergonomic to the ear it would fit better and stay in, but not with it’s generic design it has now.
I feel these are a prime example of “you get what you pay for.” They are some of the cheapest truly wireless headphones I have seen, but that is exactly how they feel.

Earbuds that dont fall out! I have small ears and these work great. Ive had them for well over a year and they are still going strong. They do not block background noise when using for calls but they arent advertised to do that. Music sound is great. I use one at a time so i get longer use.
