Roadie stole my package. I didn’t even get it. They took a picture of it outside of my gate and did not ring the bell. Then they took the package and drove off. I’m disgusted by this behavior and will never use a roadie service again!

Worked great for 2 weeks and then just started randomly disconnecting. I’ve looked everywhere for a solution and have missed my return window. Feels just like wadding up a $100 bill and tossing out the window. Should’ve bought anything else. Have had good experiences with skullcandy products in the past, but never again.

Pairs OK to iPhones, but difficult to pair if not impossible with other Bluetooth device such as TT-105A adaptor connected to TV. It paired the first time, but no more!

The main issue is the material and design of these headphones. They structurally are weak, the buttons are configured odd. Other than that, they serve their purpose and have some nice tech features.

Comfy over the hears, a little bass heavy sound

The headphones are comfortable enough to wear for an extended period while delivering solid sound. While they don’t have active noise cancellation, they do a nice job keeping my ears separate from the parts of life I don’t want to hear such as other people’s conversations or the TV in the next room. These headphones have a USB-C charging port which means I can carry a single charger with me for use with my laptop, cell phone, and headphones. They fold up flat and compact taking up minimal space in my backpack. They are also relatively lightweight, despite feeling solid on my head. Never once did they come close to falling off while riding an exercise bike and jamming out to some good tunes. They didn’t push my glasses to my face, unlike other headphones. They also have Tile functionality built in, so you can find them anywhere! Overall sound quality is good, but not exceptional. Burning them in makes a difference. After playing a variety of songs across 6 hours, they deliver a balanced sound that’s only slightly bass heavy. This is similar to other Skull Candy headphones I’ve had in the past. Unlike other headphones I’ve used, these sound the same whether they’re connected wired or through bluetooth. While they don’t have electronic noise cancellation, they do a decent job of noise isolation around the house. You could theoretically use these for a phone call, but I wouldn’t recommend it. The mics pick up voice quietly and unreliably. It’s not even close to a dedicated headset in terms of quality. You’d be better off with a speakerphone. These over the ear headphones are among the better ones that I’ve used. If you like the bass heavy sound that Skull Candy is known for, these make for a nice set which don’t go in your ear. Personally, I like a more balanced sound which means these are going back :(.

This is review of Skulllcandy Hesh Evo Over the ear wireless type. The review will consist of two experiences, one based on usage with iPad Pro by adult, and second from use with Windows OS based notebook and feedback from 11 years kid. Connecting to iPad Pro was straight forward as is today’s most devices. Now, listening streaming music delivered nice balance and deep base I would say about average or bit more. This remains same for listening songs stored on local. However, with this songs were able to control diverse variation of bass or treble and modes that can be controlled with the equalizer that comes in iPad OS while with streaming songs couldn’t as changing the mode didn’t feel the difference. Then using voice command with Siri worked acceptably well but this was very simple and few trial. The second review based on Windows OS, my daughter of 11 used for two consecutive days during her online distance classes and after the class during homework and meeting with her class mate for about 10 hours straight after having it full charged nigh before. Her feedback was I didn’t have any problem and batter life lasted and enough to still after those hours. Hence a positive note on this feedback. Hence to list pro: - Long hours of battery; - Sound quality about above average; - Its weight, it quite light and good for kids back back or travel; - Use usb c port for charing; - Available to use with audio cable - Ease of use control - Isolate in good part outside noise although doesn’t have Noise Cancelling feature. List of cons: - By default seems OFF after charging Hence need to repeat the connection with device after each charging. - For adult or who has big ear, in about 10 minute of use cause some pain on the muscle part of the ear hence need to move around. My daughter didn’t complain in this aspect. - Doesn’t seem to work well with Equalizer for streaming music - Can’t update firmware as doesn’t use Skullcandy App. - The control buttons might not work for all who has large hand as button for functions answer phone, play/pause, activate voice assistance, placed close and between +/- buttons. In some cases I end up pausing while trying to increase or decrease volume. In short, it is good fit for simple minded users and who has small physical condition or who has high tolerance and learn how to use it.

I have a high-end pair of Skullcrusher headphones that have active NR and can be tuned to rattle your head with aggressive bass if you wish. These are something different. They are straightforward, simple, wireless headphones with good sound. There is no app, no sound shaping, no tricks, just decent neutral sound at a good price for true wireless phones. The build is mostly plastic, but the quality is more than you might expect at the price point. The controls are simple, and the pairing was easy. There’s a headphone jack if you want to connect to a device without using Bluetooth and a cable included. There’s also a USB C charging cable and carrying bag. You provide the power source, but any USB block or computer will do. Charging is quick, and a full charge lasts over 30 hours. It’s good to see USB C used for charging on a price point item. As with most Bluetooth ear and headphones, you can control playback tracks and answer your phone. As stated, the sound quality is quite nice and neutral. Solid, not thundering bass which is nicely balanced with the midrange and highs. There is no app to load because there are no adjustable parameters. If you must fool with the sound, you can load and use an equalizer on the source device. The earpads are well-padded and comfortable and are large enough to fit over my ears, but not by much, and they do a fair job of blocking ambient sound. The Hesh Evo’s are a great choice for casual listening and everyday use with your phone or tablet. They don’t have active noise reduction or the sound and adjustment of $400-500 headphones, but you’re not paying for those features. However, their sound is better than many if not most in this price range. I think they hit a good balance between price, features, and quality. What they do, they do quite well, and I would recommend them to anyone not needing those expensive features.
