I bought these after needing to replace my last two pairs of more expensive earbuds. I had to replace my previous ones because the plastic cushion bit that sit on the earphone often fell/came off, and as a result lost the pieces over time making them useless. So this was an obvious concern when I bought these Skull Candy Earbuds. The plastic ear cushions are well attached to the earbud, and don't really seem like they are going to come off as easily, which is great! The mic/control device are basic (less advanced then more expensive units, but that is okay). The mic works just fine. The controls are basic and work fine with my iPhone, easily pause, play, skip songs, etc. No volume control though, which my more expensive headphones had, miss that feature, but for the price who cares. So...when these things are not in your ear they are pretty loud. If you like blasting your music, people around you might hear what you are listening to, but if you care just turn the volume down haha. The sound quality is fine for everyday listening, great for the bus, gym, work, etc. The bass could be better, wouldn't recommend for an audiophile (probably wouldn't be reading this anyway). Cord is a good length, seems durable, and tangle resistant, which is nice. Overall the design is fine, seems pretty durable, have had them for a few months, stepped on them, got them a wet (whoops), regular wear are tear, and they still work the same as the day I got them.

These are some great ear buds for a good price. Deep bass & crisp treble sound. Comfortable feel with a nice long flat cable. Also the have a great speaker phone for talking as well.

If you are on a budget and still like a great earbud set for cellphones and so on that uses a Mic this is well worth it. Sound may not beat the best but it does carry some bass in it and is well worth it.

My daughter goes through earbuds frequently, which I expect is common for teens these days. When I took her to buy new ones she specifically asked if she could get Skullcandy buds. She says that of the various types and brands she's had they are the most comfortable. The price was good - there was no way I was going to spend $60 on a set of earbuds that might be broken in a week. And, of course, they were the brand she was looking for. And the color/style was "cool" enough for her to be seen wearing them. Ha, ha. She has had the earbuds for a few weeks now and wears them several hours a day to listen to music on her iPhone. I recently asked her how they are and she said they are great. So, what better review could you ask for?!?

These headphones are not only stylish, but they are durable, lightweight and sound fabulous! I've paid more for headphones that didn't last or didn't have the sound that these do. They are a great value.

The best bang for the buck if you can get them on sale like I did on Black Friday. Solid sound and build quality, and the MIC works well, allowing voice calls. More importantly, these stay in my ears easily, which I can't say about those overpriced Apple ones that look like a mini-mentos candy with a wire attached. I always grab a half dozen when they go on sale every now and then to replace the ones that get damaged or lost by the wife and kiddies....

These are probably the best headphones you can get for such a low price. The sound quality is fantastic, and they extremely durable. Perfect pair of headphones for any audiophile!

My daughter uses her earbuds frequently (as teenagers do) and I have found these to be reliable and with good quality sound. They are not expensive and can take a beating (she uses them 1-2 hours per day for her treadmill workout in addition to her regular use). The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because I do end up having to replace them every 9-12 months (after heavy, constant use). I think they are worth it, considering there are many other earbuds that are a lot more expensive and not much better in performance and durability.

It doesn't have any fancy features but the sound quality is good and they seem to be holding up well after a good amount of use. There is a button to pause your music but it would be nice if you could skip to the next track by quickly pressing the button twice as you can on some other ear bud models. That is a very nice feature. With the ability to skip and a bit more protection on the cord at bend points (like at the audio jack end) this would be a 5 star product for the price.

They feel good in my ears (some seem to feel too big in my ears), and the sound is good. I was looking for earbuds that would accept calls while I listen to music, putting it on hold, being able to skip tracks, and adjust volume. Salesman said these did it all. A higher price version does, but these did not have the volume adjustment option. I have to remember to always read the package, regardless of what sales people say.

This unit is light weight and provides good sound. No problem with keeping the buds in place during daily functions. Might not be the best for working out or high impact activities.

Good price for headphones with quality bass. SkullCandy exclusively makes headphones so it is known for its bass sound. They are very noise-canceling. People have had to tap me on the shoulder to get my attention when I have music on! I also like how these have a mic built-in so it's easy for my calls so that others can't really hear my conversations. The only con is these broke within about a year, but it is so good that I re-bought them anyway. Maybe I should handle them more with care.

Love the sound! They don't sound tinny. They have a great bass. They are not over priced. The cords don't seem to be as breakable and don't seem to tangle up much at all.

They sound great and fit good. I have purchased cheaper earbuds in the past and they end up breaking in just a few weeks. These are lasting a long time.

I like these headphones as they have a good sound quality. They also have a microphone and fit in various ears comfortably.

These are not fantastic headphones. The build quality is pretty low (on the button in particular). But They sound surprisingly good... Good enough that at $13-$18, they are a great pair of budget headphones to always have with you stuffed in a pocket or bag. If they get damaged it's not the end of the world, and when you use them they actually sound pretty good, they have a button, a mic, and fit well. That's more than I can say for others in the price category. Winner.

I bought these after not being satisfied with my previous ear buds. These are comfortable and the sound is good. These do not fall out which was my problem earlier.

These are good ear buds. Decent sound, durable, good price and last a long time using at the gym with sweat getting on them

Great sound and fit , only issue i had was no volume control on the cord it only stops and plays
