Own several pair

A great buy for the money. I have owned 5-6 pairs in the last 4-5 years. Granted they might not last as long as I would like, but the main reason I have them is to be able to ride my snowmobile while listening to my ipod. That being said they get used regularly in less than ideal conditions and I don't see a point on spending $100 for a "good' pair of earbuds that probably won't last much longer than these do. I like the sound quality and the looks of them. I love the comfort compared to other earbuds I have tried, they don't hurt my ears and they don't fall out.

So far these headphones have been nothing but great. The sound quality is amazing. That's one thing I was absolutely looking for in headphones for my iPod. Comfort is great with the different size earbuds I'm sure you'll find one that fits you best. What's nice is that they weren't too expensive. Most time I'm of the theory you get what you pay for and I think that's true in this case. Haven't had to test the durability yet and I hope that I don't have to.

Whats great is the price of the earphones because they actually have some very nice sound quality, you dont need to blast them because it blocks out outside noise. The ears buds are small and comfortable so easy to put in your ears. But now is the bad, I bought these on october 10th of this year and they were great but the wire was way too long and everytime something hits the wire of earbud it is a very loud noise over everything else. Whats also bad about them is that they blew out very fast and it has not even been a on month. They blew out on 11/5/09 not even a month yet and it is very annoying due to me having skullcandies just like these but silver and they blew out after 4 months, the earbuds are great but if you want to have a long lasting pair of headphones then go for something more expensive that skullcandy has.

Good Value

these have great sound and are very comfortable. for the price they are a very good value. i put mine to the test every day as i work in a physical and dusty environment. my first pair went dead on one side after a couple of months but my second pair are still going strong after 6 months. the only problem with them is that the wiring going in to the ear bud itself goes through a rubber boot rather than a solid plastic one. if the wire gets pulled too much or often, the wires inside will break off.

Bought these as on-the-go headphones and have used them almost daily since november 2009. Sound quality is good for the price range. Basses are well-balanced, mids are a bit too strong, highs are sorely lacking. The overall sound is "powerful" but isn't as "bright" as most other offerings.
The build quality is indeed VERY cheap, but I take care to always pull them out of my ear by the buds and not the wire. If you pull them out by the wire, then yes they will break! The ear gels do fall out easily. As careful as I am, I've lost a medium ear gel and had to replace it with an ear gel from a dead pair of Sony's.

The Skullcandy ink'd stereo earbuds are perfect for the budget-minded audiophile. These compact powerhouse fit comfortable in my ears and sound equal to, or better than, many higher priced options. Deep, rich bass.
Downsides include the cheap plastic casing (seems too flimsy) and at max volume, the upper range becomes very slightly muddy. Overall great buy!

I was looking for some GREEN headphones and this were the only ones I could find in the store.
They are good looking and very comfortable, it's a nice touch that they included 3 cushion sizes as the medium size didn't fit my ear.
Noise isolation is very good, the only problem is the sound quality, even though it is very clear and fairly good, the bass is just terrible, barely audible and not good at all.
The Gummy headphones by JVC, which are just $10 have 1000 times better bass than this headphones, and even the cord is green on those.

i've had this pair for 3-4 months. the sound quality is good with that price! but i have a habit of rolling it around my ipod. Thus ruining the wires' quality. The price is affordable but i'm thinking of buyin cheaper pair because it would just take the same amount of time to breakdown. (i dont pay too much attention to the true sound thing...)

Decent... BUT

The sound is great and everything like that. The only bad thing was the durability. The wires were made in such a way, that they retain shape of the way they were left in (i.e. wrapping around iPod when not in use). So because of this the wires stay kinked and therefore break easily. I had them for about 4 months and the left bud stopped working, but the right one still does. Be weary of leaving them in a certain shape for a long period of time.
Bottom line: decent headphones for a decent price.

Well originally i bought this for zune and its was not a bad deal i got it on sale for half price. Well, the headphones were amazing even if you had it on a low volume it still acted noise cancelling. The problem was that it wasnt as durable as i was expecting. I usually just slip my zune back into my pocket when im not using it and so the headphones wore down fast. Now other than that i loved it but if you do buys these i would buy a backup pair of buds just incase you run into the problem to.

About 2 years ago, I purchased a set of V-Moda Vibes for about $100, and I have to say, that these Skullcandy headphones match the sound quality for only $20. The bass is unbelievable, not to mention they can get pretty loud without cracking or distorting the sound, if that's your kinda thing. Overall, i would definitely recommend these to anyone on a budget. Although these don't match the sound of Bose or Beats by Dr. Dre, they don't even come close to the price tag.

I work in a loud warehouse where I am allowed to wear headphones while doing certain jobs, and all of my other headphones didn't play over the noise (which too much noise is bad anyway) or block it out, even on my highest volume setting on my iPod. These headphones do a good job of reducing (not canceling) all of that extremely loud noise. Instead of full volume, I can clearly hear my music and podcasts at around 50%-70% volume on my iPod. The sound quality is better as well. My only problem is that I move around a lot, and these ear-bud styled headphones like to fall out. This, however, was simply overcome by wrapping the cord over top and around my ear before placing it in my ear. This acts just like a clip without squeezing your ear uncomfortably, and keeps the headphones in place. The headphones also come with three different sized adapters to fit most people, and they are soft to aid in comfort. I do not know how durable or long lasting they will be, but they have at least survived two days so far in a busy warehouse environment. This is an extremely effective product at a very great price, and I would highly recommend anyone seeking new headphones to consider this product.

i bought these as a last ditch effort, wasn't going to shell out $50 for a pair of ear buds that I'd have to replace 2weeks after....so these were worth the price...could have been louder, but it kept out the yapping from the seat next to me on the plane...but i lost them and now need another pair...

Good:
Earbuds sound much better than the ones that come with the iPod
Very comfortable, with three sets of different sized tips to fit any ear
Long cord, almost too long.
Bad:
Earbuds sound great until you move around. Everytime you brush the cord up against something you hear it over your music.
Cord is so long it gets in the way.
I purchased these earbuds as a replacement to my iPod earbuds, mainly for use when I workout. Upon plugging these earbuds in I realized the upgrade in sound. My excitement, however, was not long lasting. As soon as I stood up I realized these were going back.
The slightest movement (turning your head side to side) that causes the cord to brush against anything transmits noise to the earbuds. Highly annoying if you plan to use these for anything more than laying or sitting still to listen to music.
If you don't plan to move around while listening to music these will work well. If you plan to use you earbuds while doing anything more than laying perfectly still I suggest looking elsewhere.
I can't comment of the durability as I will be returning these within the hour, so I put it at one star.

I have never used premium in-ear headphones nor do I listen to music loud, but these seem to do the trick with good bass (better then some cheapo sony's i have had in the past) and otherwise acceptable sound quality.
I use them on my laptop at work to soak up some tunes.

For fifteen bucks these are really great earphones. The fit me well and come with two other sets of tips in case you have large or small ears. For the price the sound quality is good, so the value for the price is great.

Couldn't decide on which set to buy and glad I went with the cheaper ones. These fit my ears better than the old Sony's I used and have deeper bass. Don't know why I waited so long to switch. I use these on my weekly commutes by airplane and they quiet the noise very well.

I have tried a lot of earbuds, but these have left me the most satisfied. The sound quality is amazing! The bass is strong enough to make you feel the music, but it isn't so loud that you have to turn down the music everytime the chorus begins. It's truly a perfect medium.
They are extremely comfortable and they even come with additional tips. The additional tips let YOU decide which size is perfect for your ears.
Since buying these for myself, (I have the green ones), I have purchased many more for my friends and family as gifts. No one has been dis-satisfied thus far.

good sound except they were pictured in olive green and came in dark emerald green which does not match my ipod case which was the whole purpose of ordering them in the first place. The green is very ugly and I don't use them in public. Waste of money, We live in a rural area so returns are not convenient.

They where great when I got them. But after about 3 months they fell apart. which isn't bad...I did listen to my ipod 24/7. There the best headphones i've bought so far. and I'll buy new pairs for only $20. at walmart i bought a pair of different headphones for $26 and there not as good as skullcandys.
