Solid headphones if you can keep them in your ears

I've gone through a few different Bluetooth headphones, and these are some of the better ones I've used. No, they're not gonna give you the audio quality of an IEM like something from jaybird or Sennheiser, but those suckers are well over 150$, so for under 30 bucks, you're not beating these, as they're basically your standard skullcandys with a Bluetooth connection. I have only one complaint... The freaking battery module on the back. Of the several Bluetooth headphones I've used, these suckers are freaking hard to keep in your ears, as that Bluetooth/battery module in the middle flops everywhere. Now that would'nt be such a big deal if there were some shirt clips to hold it in place, but for some trivial reason Skullcandy did not include any method of keeping that wire in place, so unless you get some clips, that thing is gonna be flopping around all over the place, and sometimes even pulling a headphone out of your ear. Luckily for me, I'm almost always wearing a hat, so I just throw it up in my hat, and it doesn't give me any problems. If I didn't, clips would be a must. Connectivity is decent, occasionally the volume will dip for a split second when the connection suffers, but it's not often, and for how cheap these things are, it's amazing they have as solid of a connection as they do. Bottom line: worth the price, but get some shirt clips if you're planning to use them for any sort of activity.

Was looking for a replacement set of bluetooth headphones to replace my LG Tone+ model that finally gave out after about 3 years. Decided to give these a try and within a few minutes of putting them on, I knew they'd be getting returned. I usually wear headphones while working outside and have never had the issues with my old LG pair in 3 years that I had with this Skulcandy brand in 3 minutes. Headphones paired without issue, but almost immediately the signal kept fading and cutting out. Had to continuously check my phone to ensure there was still a connection. Wore these for about an hour total and this cutting out issue did not go away. Also, I don't see how anyone can be active using these headphones. As stated before, I used these while working outside during a hot day. The design of these headphones are for the buds to stay in your ears while the wire connecting the two sits on the back of your neck. Maybe it's just me, but anytime I moved my head, the wire would get caught on the back of my neck due to the sweating and then pull one or both of the buds out of my ear. This happened repeatedly and became unbelievably frustrating trying to find any way to keep them in my ears while working. After an hour, I ripped them off, cursed them and placed them back in the box to return. Not worth the money or the headache in my opinion.

    Battery Life So So

I charged once, and got max of maybe 4 hours long. Trying next charging longer after shows blue fully charged to see if it will stay longer to closer to the claim of up to 6 hours. Otherwise, I will have to give up on this because my walks are around 4 hours plus long, and if this is going to tell me low battery, needs charging just about the time getting home, then they are worth for those who like short battery length. That is what ticks me off is this exactly, and I knew even before this purchase and these being my first bluetooth set, that battery sucks for bluetooth technology being so old as it is now a days. These should not be 6 hours claim but like the crushers getting 40 hrs. Sad after all this time that battery is still short. I only recommend these to people that don't want anything higher than 4 hrs of play. I will see if it gets better on charge but kind of regretting the purchase because of shorter than claimed battery length. Rest of the purchase is perfect on sound, quality. Would be nice if they were sweat resistant.

These are not bad but they are not great. I generally speaking love Skullcandy products, however, this was not a winner with me. PROS: Portability: These are extremely light weight and travel very easy. Moving through the airport is a breeze. Multi Device: You can connect to 2 devices at the same time. CONS: Sound: The sound is middle of the road at best. It is plagued with an incredibly muddy bass heavy sound. They will get decent volume but its difficult to hear the full spectrum of music. Multi Device: I am excited to be able to connect to multiple devices but if I get a notification on a device that is not my primary listening device it cuts the volume on the primary device for a long time. This is incredibly frustrating. Mic: There is a mic but I would not use it for anything. Its better to just use your phone. I have not had one person able to hear me with this mic. Overall in truth I use these headphones all the time to listen to shows and music while traveling. They are incredibly handy and if I want to do critical listening I will use a more expensive headphone.

I decided to get these cause well I use earbuds for my phone alot when I go cleaning. I got these cause also was tired of the wired ones and thought it might be good. Well for a bit I had issues with my phone (it is a galaxy s4)..but I figured it out overtime in the settings. It works pretty well. One flaw I see in it is when I am in a call and without notice it will sometimes just turn off. It is fixable by turning it back on but I find it weird it will do this on a barely used charge. Another small thing is there is no volume controls on these earbuds. So you have to keep your device you use close by if you want to adjust it. They feel comfortable in the ears and they come with some smaller earbud pieces and a small cord for charging (but you can use other cables that work just as well.) In all I love them when they do work. For the price it isn't terrible, but I bet there is better out there. If you are looking for some good wireless earbuds that are a bit less than the others. Look no further.

I can’t understand all the positive reviews. I purchased this and it worked great for one day. Then this morning, it won’t pair. After research, I am told I can “forget device”. Yep that worked, but why should I have do this. I tried several times again throughout the day, and either it won’t pair at all (even after I “forget device”), or I have to “forget device”. I even tried rebooting phone or IPad a couple times. A couple rare times it did auto pair. The unit is fully charged. And the problem occurs on a very new iPhone 8 and brand new IPAD Pro. I have a Plantronics headset that just automatically pairs every time I turn it on—never had an issue. This JIB unit is not worth even the small price tag. I do expect BT devices to pair automatically and every time, without any “forget device” workarounds. I am returning this unit. Guess I will need to spend a bit more money to get something that works. Very disappointed.

Bought it today from bestbuy store, tried checking reviews before buying the headphones but there was no review available but I just went with the brand name. These are the worst pair of headphone I ever had. Firstly It came in worst packing, i have to literally pull them to take out of packibg, paired them with my iphone and result was shocking. While on the full volume i was facing issue to listen anything properly. No bass, valoume is less and microphone was not working properly. I was bearly able to hear anything or on other side microphone was poor too. Within few mns i made my mind to return it back. But ya before taking my final call I asked one of my friend to try that, and he was shocked with the output. Anyhow I am going to return it back tomorrow. Wont recommned this to anyone. Not sure why I have to even give it a single star, it doesn't even deserve one star.

I bought these to connect to my PC (which has internal Bluetooth) so that I could watch YouTube or whatever without disturbing others. I got these set up easily but first off I noticed I had to crank up the video sound as high as it would go for the sound to be loud enough but then as I started to watch the video I noticed SIGNIFICANT lag between the video and the sound. To the point I couldn’t tolerate trying to watch with the disconnect between sound and video. I tried reconnecting etc. didn’t help. I wondered if it was and issue with my PCs Bluetooth so I connected my LG Bluetooth headphones I use for work and they worked fine. So the problem is with these. Can’t say whether I just got a bad pair or it’s the model overall. But I’ll defintiely be returning these.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money and just need headphones for your newly acquired smartphone without a 35mm headphone jack. This Skullcandy Jib Wireless Bluetooth earbuds should fill this gap. I bought mine for sale for $20.00. The sound is decent, with the bass being sufficient. The battery life is OK: about 3-4 hours straight (the volume was set at around 75%). There are no volume controls on the unit. You'll have to use your device to control the volume. The microphone is sufficient. People on the other side can hear what you're saying. There is just a single button that functions as power and for bluetooth pairing. This is a no-nonsense wireless headphone unit. I'd recommend it if you need something basic and don't want to spend a lot of money.

I already have the hesh 2 wireless headphones from skull candy but i wanted something a little more discreet for use while at school or in public. I purchased these headphones because i love the skull candy brand and i was not let down. They deliver really good quality audio and decent bass sound. They are really comfortable in the ear and around the neck. They are also very easy to charge and the battery itself lasts a long while, even with continuous use. The only downside i have to them is that they dont have their own volume control. Meaning you are at the mercy of having to use your devices audio controls. So its a slight inconvenience if you to stop what you are doing to have to pull your phone out of your pocket to adjust the volume.

is sorry. I bought these for myself for my birthday around 12/24/17, and after a few weeks, had a problem with the item connecting to my phone. No problem. I tried to take them back to BB around 1/21, and was told I was outside the return window, and we didn’t buy the extended coverage. I’m sorry, but the already ridiculous 14-day return policy doesn’t have 1 thing to do with a defective product. And surely there isn’t a product in that entire store that has a manufacturers warranty that expires in 30 days. Any “extended warranty” is not needed until the original warranty expires. At any rate, unless I have to go to Best Buy to get a duplicate of the TV we bought last year, I won’t be going there again for anything, and if so, that will be the last purchase for me.

I can’t really complain about these. They have good sound; the battery lasts 6+ hours; pairing is simple; noise cancellation is good (not JUST for the price). For the price these cost, I think they’d be hard to beat. Drawbacks: Volume is a little lower than I’d prefer, the battery bounces more than I’d like when I’m walking, and I wish the light didn’t blink constantly. None of these (or all together) are worth taking off a star. These are not TOP shelf, so don’t expect peak performance, but if you want decent sound for the train or shopping, these are perfect and the price is spot on. Would buy again, if necessary.

These buds have some definite pros and cons... They have a good bass hit but the highs are a little week. They also cut in amd out at times when watching you tune but i didnt have that issue while listening to the music player. Battery life was good but the battery pack can swing around during activity and cause one of the buds to pull out. Let me end by saying, if you can get these when they're on sale for $20 then they're we'll worth it. If you're going to buy them at full price then I would suggest trying to get the ink'd wireless on sale... at that point the $5 difference is well worth it. I returned mine and got the ink'd and was much more satisfied with them.

I have known skullcandy for being an above average brand (even touching the "very good" category). However, the JIB wireless headphones turned out to be a damp squib. Not only does the output dissapointed me when I played songs through Pandora, but the biggest issue I faced was that they did not work when I connected them and made a phone call. Some robotic and screeching noise starts coming in the ear pieces as soon as I hit dial on my phone. I got a defective piece and will have to go to the store to return it..so much for online shopping on Black Friday 2017. Even if i get a replacement or moneyback, I wont recommend this product to anyone!

These sound great and fit is good. Easy to connect with various devices. There is a lag with the control for sound and forward/reverse feature. Only con is the battery pack in the middle of the headset. This is light and hardly noticeable. But even with it's light weight, the battery pack wants to shift towards the right or left behind your neck, and causes the corresponding earpiece to want to unseat from your ear. I would not recommend this for those who exercise as this would cause more than constant adjustment of the placement of the battery pack.

I purchased these headphones after my old ones broke. After using them for a week i just had to return them. The sound quality is poor and volume doesn't go as high as other Bluetooth headphones in its class. They feel flimsy and cheap and will break easily or just go out. I know this is a budget friendly headphone listed at $20 but don't waste your time or money on these. I would strongly strongly recommend the JLab Audio - JBuds Pro Signature Wireless In-Ear Earbud Headphones - Black Model: JBUDSPROBT-BLK-BOX SKU: 5793103 Well worth the $25!!!

PROS: I use these daily. They're working as well today as they did the day they arrived. Skullcandy earbuds are my favorite, as they have great sound quality. CONS: Occasionally I have to re-pair them with my phone... not sure why, haven't figured out the rhyme or reason, and that's annoying, but it doesn't happen too often. Would have liked them to come with a carrying case. Found and ordered one separately that they fit in. Overall, I'm happy with the earbuds. They're my go-to for sound.

I bought these headphones to replace my older wired Sony headphones and they are mostly more convenient that those. The major drawbacks are, of course, having to keep your headphones charged (no wired option and battery-life isn't great) and I tend to store headphones in my pants pockets for easy access but these tend to turn on very easily, draining the battery while not in use. Another drawback would be the audio fade-in, when you start listening to something, the audio will fade-in slowly which may cause you to miss the first few seconds of what you're listening to.

Cons 1. These are easy to lose . I've played hide & seek with them a few times already. I have dedicated spots to keep them so they don't get lost. 2. The Bluetooth frequently loses connection (I have a Galaxy). 3. There are no power level symbols so you never know how much power left in the charge. 4. The volume can't be adjust on the headset Pros 1. Easy Bluetooth connection 2. Fits anywhere 3. Doesn't have that annoying neck rest that other Bluetooth headsets have.

Initially I was happy with my purchase and even bought a hard case to take care of them properly. Imagine my disappointment when out of nowhere, less than a month after my purchase, the left earbud suddenly loses volume and is drastically quieter than the right. I have tried to fix it but it seems irreparable. My only hope is that Skullcandy will replace them, but never buying a Skullcandy product again. What a letdown. Spend a little more money to get something better that will actually last you.
