Shame that they're so quiet and stop working

I really, really wanted to like these. I hate earbuds that go in the ear canal, feels like being stuffed up with a cold. I found these to be really comfortable, they stay on my ears very well with the moldable arms. The tips of the earbuds were quite comfortable. The sound quality is actually pretty good. Could use a touch more bass, more than good enough for working out. Unfortunately, two problems. 1st, they are quiet. I have to turn them and my phone up all the way for a decent volume. Same problem on my tablet (both are Android), and also tried on a friends iPhone. I might have been able to deal with this, since they are strictly for use at the gym, since these are water resistant. Second, the right one keeps cutting out, to the point it completely cut out. Put them right away, got my old, $30 pair which has lasted years. Do not know if working again, as I packed them up and they're going back. Only used them 4-5 times.

These earbuds are by far the best earbuds i have ever owned. The sound quality is loud, clear and crisp. The earbuds have moldable ear hooks which keep the buds in place while you work out and are also sweat proof. The ear buds also come with an amazing built in feature. These ear buds have "Tile" built-in, so in case you misplace the headphone, the "Tile" feature shows you sort of like a radar on your phone to be able to locate them. The earbuds also come with an amazing 40 battery life with the rechargeable case. Both ear buds have volume controls so your not fumbling around to find the volume button while working out and just in case if you need to answer a phone call, there is also a built in microphone to take or make your calls. All in all the best earbuds ever. Pros- Built in TILE Moldable Ear Hooks 6 hour Battery in Buds 34 hours Battery in Case Rapid Charge 10 minutes = 2 hours Sweat, water and dust proof Volume Control on Both Buds Cons- Nothing that i could find so far

    Runners Review

Runners Review Backstory/Background I run about 13-22 miles a week. I have been using an IPod shuffle and wired ear buds for a few years. I like the smallness of the shuffle. I recently got a Garmin 245 music so I purchased 2 off brand airpods, one sounded good, only 39.99 on amazon, but I had too much trouble pairing it and then it would cut out way too much on a run. Returned. That made me realize what I actually wanted in ‘airpods’. I need something that I can adjust volume on the airpods itself, something that isn’t touch sensitive and something where I can also change the song on the airpod. I was going to by the expensive beats for 199, but then I saw these for half the price and they have volume control. I was disappointed at first because I thought they didn’t have track control. But I went to the Skullcandy website and discovered, yes they do! And you can also register these for their 2 year warranty. So score! Here is my assessment after my first 4 mile run. Ease to put on. Very easy. You are supposed to put them on in a twisting motion...not insert like regular earbuds or airpods. Sound. Excellent sound. The bass is more than sufficient. They are not noise cancellation but with the volume at 80% i really didn’t hear the world other than if on a busy street with cars; however, honestly for safety you do need some ambient, outside world sounds, car sounds. I didn’t get these to cancel noise. The sound is great. Fit. Good fit. I wear a bandana, and sunglasses (TX runner). The sunglasses should rest on top of the earbud loop. Was not uncomfortable at all. For an added plush I put earbud covers (those foamy black things that cover wired earbuds) over the ear insert. It adds a nice pillow-like cushion. Function. The ability to turn up the volume, pause a song or skip to next song is excellent and easy to do. Having to do that from the Garmin 245 watch take a few steps and is very inconvenient. Ability to control music from the headphones themselves is the main reason I chose these. Plus airpods may be 'cool' but you no doubt will touch your ear a lot with those and will have to constantly deal with the touch commands. Not with Skullycandy. Buttons are easy to work with and use. Connectivity. Here is the only problem and a loss of a major star. In that 4 mile run, I would say 10 times I lost connectivity for probably a half second, if that much. And 2 times there was a loss of connectivity for at least a full second or 1.5 seconds. It was not due to interference from others because It was just me out there. Constant connectivity is one of the most important things . The time when I had small lost connectivity isn’t really that big of a deal. One speaker will keep playing, it seemed to be just the right one that had the issue…but I don’t think this should happened at all. So -1 star :/ Overall, the headphones are waterproof (not fully, you can’t swim with them). Waterproof as in your sweat won’t kill them and you can also run in rain. Sound is excellent and volume is good. I will try these out for a few more runs before deciding if the connectivity issue forces a change. Other than that, great Bluetooth headphones and Runner approved. I am getting a Garmin 945 and will update this review stating how these Plus Ultra connect to that watch.

Great sounding little set of ear buds / headphone. I like the fact that they have the loop that goes over your ears to keep them on, however, they don't stay snugly in your ears if you're moving around much. For sitting at your desk, working, they are great. I also wish there was an option to have different sized ear buds. I bought a pair for my 13 year old and he says they hurt his ears for the first little while because of only having one size earbuds. They hold a charge very well and I haven't ever run out of battery on them, even while listening for hours straight. The case is pretty hefty and charges them up quick, but is bulky and not something you'd want to keep in your pocket for long. Overall, I love the way they sound, the battery life, and the ear loops, but I think they could maybe use a small re-design on the case and era tips to fit a wider variety of ears. Nothing I would consider taking them back for though, I love them.

Excellant quality headphones, love the sound, love the independence of each ear bud being in control, they stay in my ear and the loop over the ear is so comfortable, the battery lasts weeks for an occasional user such as myself. The only issue I ran into is that my ear is just a tad small for the bud part and it constantly hurt my ear. I called skullcandy directly and they are replacing them with a different pair that will better suit my ear but if thats not a problem for you then these are definitely worth the cost.

I love skullcandy but this one was not it. I got it cheap on sale even though I saw the not so great review. Here are the facts: Pros -Sounds okay -Cool solid case with USB C and wireless charging. Cons -Low volume -Does not cancel noise -Awkward fit -Contacts don't always work so you can never tell I'd they are actually charging. -Buttons are hard -The case has a zipper so it it breaks no more case -The earbuds connect great 80% of the time. If you are unlocked enough to have them glitch on you they are almost impossible to reconnect.

I have rated these earbuds two and a half stars based on what I look for in earbuds and how the feel, but also in other issues I had with them. I have been using Skullcandy earbuds for a good half a decade, so when I was looking to upgrade to my first True Wireless earbuds, I trusted Skullcandy. These were not the first TW product I had purchased, but I ended up returning those in exchange for these. As far as sound quality goes, these earbuds sound fine and I enjoyed them for their sound. Along with that, they boast a total of 40 hours worth of playtime, and a quality case. Now, what I did not enjoy about these earbuds are first, they do not come with any sort of ear tips. Those are the type of earbuds I prefer because they block out any unwanted sounds. Another issue I had was, these buds are supposed to turn off/turn on when you them in the case and take them out. However, I would put the buds in the case, but they would stay on and the audio was not coming out o my phone. At times, I would leave these charging overnight, only to find that one of the earbuds had not charged at all and would be dead within 30 minutes of use, was another issue. I would take these out of their case, and t was stated they would turn on, but sometimes, only one of them would turn on, leaving me to physically turn the other on, and if that did not work, I would have to put them in the case again for a few minutes. One day at the gym, they started cutting out of one another and the audio would fade in and out for a second. Ultimately, I have returned these and gotten a refund. I love Skullcandy, but not this.

I've had really mixed results with the Skullcandy Push Ultra sport earbuds. I've used them 3-4 times a week for the last six months, mostly while cycling. They're simple to use and setup. Charging is easy and quick. Sound and fit are generally good, although volume can be inconsistent. Unfortunately, these earbuds are unreliable. Some days, maybe most, they work and sound fine. However, maybe a quarter or third of the time they have performance issues and will cut sound in and out repeatedly of the left side...just enough to be really annoying. At first I thought this was a bluetooth signal issue, but reconnecting did not fix it, plus it doesn't lose the signal on the right, only on the left, so the earbuds are struggling to keep connection to each other, not with the source. Finally, in the last few months I've been riding longer distances and while the specs indicate these should have 6+ hours of battery life, I NEVER get more than 2 hours before a low battery warning and then shut off 5 or 10 minutes later. It's possible I just got a defective pair, but I can't really recommend them given the flaky performance and short battery life.

The sound quality is great, but everything else is pretty awful. Even when you manually power off the buds and put them in the case to charge, sometimes they don't lay right and will only partially charge or not charge at all. Additionally, if you like using them in one ear only, you might have to put the unused earbud and case out of range or in a very secure location that won't be jostled, because if you carry them in your purse or a desk drawer that you have to open regularly, the unused bud will turn itself on and connect to your phone and take focus from your other bud. I also can't seem to make them both stay connected and cooperate so I can have sound in both ears. These are basically unusable for me.

Skullcandy has been a favorite of mine for YEARS but these weren’t a hit with me. I’m a basehead. I crave it with listening to music. These were a huge disappointment. The sound quality was horrible which was unexpected because I find skullcandy to be one of the best (and affordable). I caught these on sale but they’re going back. I gave 3 stars because I like the fit around my ear but I don’t like how the inner piece isn’t moldable to the inside of my ear. It just sits there... it’s uncomfortable. I used the app. Another disappointment. The 3 modes... music... podcast... and movie really didn’t sound any different. I had issues trying to pair the earbuds with Tile. It never located the left earbud after multiple tries using the suggested tips. The charge case was annoying to use. Took a few tries to figure out how to get the earbuds in.

They are comfortable; my ears won't hold buds on their own, I need the the little flexible wire wrap to keep things in. It does the job well. Sound quality is nice, but other features seem exaggerated. The distance they work -well- is small, they can be finnicky to set up and pair, the led light system to indicate what the earbuds and case are doing is confusing, and they are tough to connect for a proper charge. Really the selling points for me were the price and the ear wrap; wireless earbuds were a great purchase even if these aren't the best thing on the market.

I find that these particular earbuds are lacking in a few areas. The first being volume, there aren't loud. This may have to do with the device you are using. I bought these for my workouts, work, and travel. The device I use is my phone. Most phones restrict volume for safety reason. And you can go past this safety feature but it still lacks in volume. The second concern is the lack of bass. Even using my listening device's settings to enhance this feature it was lacking. Mainly, they work and do offer some standard features. SkullCandy's colors are awesome. The case they charge in is well designed. If you are looking for a good pair of wireless earbuds that you can workout in and average daily stuff and don't mind some volume performance loss then these are ok. Like I stated before this may be factors on my end so, take this review with a grain of salt.

I liked them, the only thing I did not like is the sound is not very good, but I mean the volume, the sound is not heard well because they lack more volume, the price is a bit expensive, the only good thing is that the battery in the case lasts many hours maybe 7 days or more without charging and the headphones only last 48 hours with approximate use of 3 hours a day, they are easy to use and a little difficult to connect to the Bluetooth of my phone but reviewing the online manual well it was a little easier!

This is great for me because it fits over the ear where it will say put. The plug in's always fall out of my ear. The sound is great. You can have it set in stereo or mono. The ear hooks contour to your ear. They even work separately so if you loose one you can still use the other. The only thing I don't like is they don't fit totally in the ear and they feel bulky. It's a keeper for me. I guess the price is average compared to others.

Theyre alright if you have big ear holes. These things are chonkers. The wire that wraps around your ear broke in the same spot on both of mine within about 2 weeks, and i have a blister in my ear from trying to fit them in. thats my fault a bit but still theyre so uncomfortable. The sound is good! theyre a bit quiet for me as a metalhead that spends a lot of time on the train but i got these for wicked cheap on black friday so im not really mad but i wouldnt recommend them to anyone. a brand im fond of but do your research before buying

So I was looking for an entry level (inexpensive) set of earbuds to use at work. These were on sale, and had good overall reviews, so tried them out. Overall, I'm very happy, as they have exceeded my expectations. The ease of use is the only category I didn't give 5 stars on (still got 4), due to an issue detailed below (in Quirks). Pros for me: Battery life. I can almost do a complete 12 hour shift charging them only on my 15 minute breaks and 30 min lunch. Volume: They'll play loud enough to be heard over the heavy industrial equipment I work around. They're clear enough even at high volume levels so still sound pretty good. This allows me to hear my supervisor's phone calls and other calls as needed, then go back to my music. A few quirks: Sometimes they don't seat firmly in the case (for charging, etc). This can cause them to randomly connect/disconnect on bluetooth. Maybe there's a way to fix this, but I haven't found it yet. The mic does not pick up very well when using only one earbud. Doesn't matter for me left or right side, but using only one earbud, expect to have to speak louder to be heard clearly.
