one earbud went 1/2 dead within 10 days.

Product worked good but after 10 days or so the left side was 1/2 dead and the sound was unbalanced. Looking at the manufacturers warranty requires sending them back and filing a claim. Too much hassle for a set of earbuds.

I got these about 6 months ago after i lost my skull candy titanium headphones. Unlike others, i had no trouble with the fit in my ears and only due to vigorous exercise do they occasionally come loose. These in ear earbuds are very finicky about ear canal size though. My fiance has small ears and cannot get them in her ears even using smaller tips. Luckily my ears just happen to be the right size. You might have to use trial and error for this type of headphone. The cord on these i really like. It has the flat rubberized feel cord. I am really bad about tangling the cords on my headphones and these are really easy to undo and have not gotten damaged from being tangled. I watch tv/movies on my phone in bed at night when my fiance is sleeping (she has to go to bed early) and i can easily untangle them in the dark by feel alone. The sound quality on these are great, no worse than the 50 dollar pair of skull candy that they are replacing. You might find better sounding pairs in the 80+ dollar range. It came with a small plastic box to store them in but it is pointless as the headphones barely even fit and it pops open all the time. Overall happy with the headphones. Having the mic lets me answer the phone without having to unplug them. Sound is good. Cord is nice.

I am not at all happy with these headphones. My son spent I beleive $30 on them and they broke within a week. The "cheap" pairs he usually bought lasted at least a couple months.

The sound quality for the price is very poor. I have received free headphones with MP3 players that had far superior sound quality. I returned them promptly.

They lasted less than 3 weeks before the wire came out of the ear piece so they no longer work.

After loosing my pair of ultimate ears I went to best buy for a quick replacement.. Because they can't be tested you must go on reputation.
I have owned a few skullcandys in the past but this is by far the worst fitting of them all. They are two big and no matter what Jell's I put on them they fall out with ease.. I really would not recommend them but they do sound ok for the money. If you must purchase them due to price remember you get what you pay for..

I really like these ear buds. When i first got them they sounded cheep but once i figured out how they fit in my ears they sound great. The bass is awesome you can feel it. The cord is really long and that's something like. The mic seems to be fine. I think these ear buds should be 20 dollars not 30. But I'm happy with them.

Worst Skullcandy has to offer.

This is my 7th pair of Skullcandy headphones. I have been a loyal fan since my first pair of Ink'd headphones many years ago. I have had Titans, Ink'ds, Full Metal Jackets, Heshs, and a few others. These are by far the worst in all aspects.
I purchased these with the mic attachment thinking they would be on par with the quality of other Skullcandy products but i was wrong.
The sound is horrific. I am not an audiophile but the bass seems to mute the rest of the sounds. Similar to a set of $2 ear-buds available at Walmart checkout lanes.
The fit is my biggest grudge. I have tried all three silicone earpieces and none seems to agree with my ear. I am a runner and this is out of the question with these. I ran about half a mile spending most of the time wrestling with these and had to turn back. I have always run with Skullcandy so this was disappointing.
The cord is terrible at resisting tangles. My last pair of Titans were covered in a mesh rope and it was wonderful at resisting tangles.
Lastly, the cost was a big shock. The Ink'd headphones are better than these is every aspect yet the Smokin' buds cost me twice what they did.
The only good things I can say is that they are durable and are excellent at blocking out outside noise (noise cancellation).

Used these a lot to listen to music while mowing the lawn or riding my bike, sound great, comfortable, only downside was that they do stick out of my ears a bit far and get blown out at freeway speeds.

Great for the price

This is a great set of headphones for the price with quality even less trained ears can appreciate - but only if your ears are perfectly suited to the buds. It comes with two sizes, but neither stays in my ear long even if I'm stationary. The cord is also quite lengthy and becomes a hassle, latching on to objects, probably something that contributes to the susceptibility of the wiring to damage and complete loss of operation. If you purchase these earbuds, you MUST take care of them if you want them to last.

I bought these because the Best Buy website said they have "In-line volume control." They don't! Now I either keep them, or drive back to Best Buy and give them the destroyed package back and ask for a refund. What a pain! Sound quality is good so far though.

I like these headphones, but I use them for multiple activities...
For working out, they're awful. They fall out a lot.
If you're taking a trip where you're sitting still, they have great sounds for the laptop or mp3 player.
Walking around town with them in they're good as long as they're shoved in your ear. They tend to get a loose feeling after a few minutes and the sound becomes poor since the fit becomes poor.
I'd spend $50 or $60 and get a betting fitting set.

Excellent sound for the price. My complaint is the design of the headset. The cord is ridiculously thick and heavy, which tugs at the earbuds. Even though they stay in place, it constantly feels as if they're about to fall out, and I find myself always having to reposition them. So if you're looking for comfortable headphones with a snug fit, these aren't for you. I'd recommend them if you're willing to overlook this flaw.

I paid about $39 for these earbuds. They sound good but there was one for about $50 that sounds better. Although i can't really afford the $50 ones I would recomend the $50 ones instead if money is not an issue. Otherwise this is fine. I have no regrets.

When I asked my son if he like these....his response was "they're the best". I guess if you're going to spend this kind of money on these ear buds, at least the kids like them!
