As usual Bond does whatever it takes to get the job done and pays later for his mistakes; as do others he cares about. Craig is my second favorite Bond after Connery because his scripts have less of the unimaginable luck and fewer snarky remarks or puns. As M; Judy Dench makes it seem that all MI-6 employees stay rated in firearm use and ready to fight back. Together they go outside bureaucracy to get the bad guys. This story carries elements over from the Quantum of Solace into new places and conundrums for your entertainment. The ladies are hot; action innovative, technology cool...Enjoy.

I rank SKYFALL as second best of the Daniel Craig Bond films ( a VERY close second), but all the films are great, so I wound up getting all 3 steelbooks. These are awesome, and I was able to ad all 3 to my Digital Library with the UltraViolet Codes too that were included. This is a great value and I love the artwork on these Exclusive Best Buy Steelbooks!! A great gift for any Bond fan! ~PopCulter I hope they do something similar for SPECTRE when it comes out.

Off the bat I want to say this isn't my favorite bond film. I think it lacks a lot of story and even more action. But, I like this DVD because it brings many behind the scenes footage of the movie. You can't really find that in DVDs these days. Normally they just leave it all for the Blurays. The DVD looks really nice, and the case could have more design to it, but is still good.

Action packed from start to finish. One of the best James Bond movies to come along in quite awhile. Full of mind-bending twists & will have you guessing until the very end.

It's Bond and doesn't disappoint. Tons of excitement that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Best overall action in a 007 movie. Daniel Craig isn't quite the lady's man that Sean Connery was, but the movie is great.

(NO SPOILERS - I hate to watch the previews for movies if it is for a movie that I already know I am going to see. They reveal too much. So I would not do that to you.) I am a HUGE & Long Time James Bond fan. Having read all of the books and watched all of the movies. Previous to Daniel Craig my favourite Bond was Sean Connery. I think that the producers of the James Bond movies have really done a good job with Daniel Craig's Bond making him closer to the books. My first impressions after watching Skyfall in the theatre were that this was a totally "Different" type of Bond movie than I had seen before. I love movies and have a degree in Film so very much enjoy a well made movie that takes the audience on a journey of discovery, emotions, and adventure. Do not worry this film does have it's fill of James Bond action but the real value to me was getting a deeper glimpse into the character's psyche. Where he is coming from and why he is the way that he is. How his life experiences on the job and with his meaningful romances and their loss have shaped him. How his loyalty to Queen and Country are unshakeable. Again, I may be tainted as I am a HUGE James Bond fan and a particular fan of the latest recast of the James Bond character with Daniel Craig. However, I have spoken to many of my friends and colleagues who have seen this film and they all unanimously say that this was arguably the best James Bond Movie ever! Men and women who are not particularly James Bond fans enjoyed the movie as it had a good balance of action, drama, and suspense.

Best Buy had a wonderful selection of DVDs and I was so amazed I was able to purchase this DVD on Black Friday. This James Bond Skyfall is a great movie and this specific DVD was the Blu-ray version. Thanks Best Buy for carrying such a great DVD and the price could not be beat!

The movie is a high water mark not only for Bond movies but for movies in general. Sam Mendes brings great depth to an age old character. The Steelbook feels such quality and has a great color gradient to it on both the front and back

The movie in 4k is amazing. The sound of the film is crisp and clear. Definitely a must get in your 4k collection.

I only like Casino Royale and Skyfall from the Craig series. Didn't feel it was worth buying the box set when you can get this gem, with a digital code, to go with my Casino Royale copy. The quality and ease of this format is fantastic.

The newer bond series are way better story and effects wise, than the garbage movies before. This one has director and producer comments which I find an interesting bonus. Blu-ray is of course much better visually.

One of Daniel Craig's best outings as James Bond. The best thing about this film is the cinematography by Roger Deakins. The action and fights are great as well. Highly recommended!

SkyFall was stupidly hyped back in 2012, correlating with the 2012 Summer Olympics, with a short film directed by Danny Boyle and starring Daniel Craig as Bond and Her Majesty, the Queen as herself doing a little flyover London before skydiving out of a helicopter, a Bond 50 bluray set releasing 9 new Bond films not before available on Blu Ray and of course the diamond anniversary of the Bond films themselves. They got a great director, awesome singer for the title, Roger Deakins to shoot the film and a great actor for the villain. A lot to live up to, but I have to hand it to the Bond crew, this is one of the best films of the series, filled with exciting action sequences, great performances and a great sendoff of a major part of the film series for years. Recommended that everyone needs to own a copy on DVD or Blu Ray, just to have a classic on your shelves. The PQ is stunning with some beautifully shot sequences, vivid colors, and a great filmic look for the most part (Shot digitally for the first time in the series) provided by Deakins and totaly worthy of an Oscar nomination (A win should have been clear cut, but Life of Pi had to ruin the fun). The AQ is equally impressive, with Adele's title tune, actions sequences, the evocative score and dialogue all heard loud and clear and bass-y. The extras on the DVD disappoint, only containing a few featurettes, with the Blu Ray holding 2 commentaries, an hour of extras, and an intro to the red carpet premiere in London. All in all, a big recommendation for anyone fans of films!!!

These have been a hot item lately. Just a standard blu ray release but the steelbook is great. Sky fall is one of his best!

Enjoyed watching this movie again in blue ray. High definition movie at a very low price on Thanksgiving. Yaasss!!!

Skyfall is a monster. A Must purchase and keep nestled in my collection for a boring weekend night. Great Quality picture.
