Skylanders is back to its roots with great gameplay and puzzle solving. No more vehicle sections or areas locked off because you have the wrong vehicle. This is an action rpg built for kids with parents in mind. This years hook is now you can create your own skylanders. The starter pack only comes with 1 crystal so you will need to purchase other crystals if you want to make more skylanders. The only downside is once you make a skylander on a crystal it is forever locked to that crystal. So if you make one you do not like you are stuck with it. This game is great for a parent and kid to play together. It is deep enough for an older person to enjoy and also easy enough for kid to play without getting frustrated.

My 4 year old son has been playing xbox, so I recently looked for a game that would allow him to play that he could get rewarded and buy need things for. Skylanders allows my child to get rewarded with new characters.

This item was recently bought as a gift for my nephew. Although I haven't used the product, I must say that using Gamers Club Unlocked to purchase this game with the extra accessories is definitely worth it. He is a fan of these games and with all that it comes with for the price with GCU makes the value worth it. I'd recommend this bundle to anyone.

If you like Skylanders, this will be right in your wheelhouse. The ability to create your own Skylanders is AWESOME, but I hope at some point you could create a free form character. I understand having to keep it in some form, but there's ways to do it. As for being able to use your previous Skylanders, the answer is still yes, we have characters going all the way back to game 1, and they are still competitive..

My children absolutely love this game and it enables them to use their imagination in lots of creative ways. Creating characters, moving from Land to land, it's really incredible to watch them work together to make this come to life.

My kids and I are enjoying this game very much. Great graphics, story line and character interaction. I was a little disappointed about the portal as it is the same as Spyros adventure. Overall, satisfied.

Great game for and to play with kids. Purchased this for my sons birthday and he's been enjoying it ever since my only con if you can call it that, is that there is a ton of expansion and additional characters sold separately and they run about 6.99-30 bucks. Regardless it's still entertaining and my son enjoys creating characters so overall 5 stars.

This new version of Skylanders is actually quite good! Some of the more tedious aspects of prior games has been taken out and updated graphics and minor gameplay mechanics change really makes this one of the best Skylanders yet. To some degree there is more of the same here but that is also what makes it so good!

Hours of entertainment for my 8 and 7 year old, bbuy matched the price with competitors.

My 5 year old son has fun playing this game. As is typical with all of the Skylanders games, there are lots of add on purchases to get the "full game" experience. However, even without additional purchases, you can play thru the main story-line. I think that my son preferred trap team to imaginators. Luckily all of the characters from the older skylander games will work on imaginators.

Every year my family and I get the latest Skylanders game and yet again we weren't disappointed. This year's figures are bigger and have even better powers plus creating our own Skylanders will keep this one in rotation for quite a while.

i thought this skylanders new gimmick was pretty cool but I wish that each element or hero you create can open the locked up worlds. Only buying sensei characters can unlock these levels and wish that they could go easier on consumers. all in all pretty good, but I think length of campaign is a bit shorter than superchargers which was probably there best game.

Daughter loves the toys and game. Great gift idea.
