Each character has a unique weapon and features to make playing the game more fun. Some of the figures have tops and bottoms that interchange so you can be a little more creative with them. Each new character you create appears in the game and is really cool to play with. The kids enjoy collecting the different characters and love when there is an exclusive figure that can only be purchased through Best Buy. I recommend these because my son, nephew, and nieces don't get bored with this game because you can change it up with new characters.

This is a good first game for little kids. I would recommend this.

My kids absolutely love skylanders, the game is fun to play with then, and its easy enough that if they get stuck somewhere i can usually get them past that part. The only downside is the huge selection of characters, then the variants, the special and limited editions, same characters in a slightly different pose from spyros adventure, to giants, to swap force. It just makes you wanna rip your hair out sometimes when your kids want 1 specific character and you can't find it anywhere.

I think this was when we bought Rattle Shake. We love our skylanders! They spend lots of time playing pretend in the floor with our 5 year old son. He has dozens of the older skylanders, but this was his first swap force character. the magnets attach the tops and bottoms much more securely than I expected. they appear to be quite durable, We haven't had one break yet, and they get plenty of use both on an off the portal of power.

I surprised my grandson with this gift as a reward for getting an excellent report card. He loves playing Skylanders and has so many of the figures that we've purchased from Best Buy. We love getting these figures from Best Buy rather than anywhere else We enjoy the benefits of Best Buy shopping and in addition should there be any immediate problems at purchase they always stand by their product.

The skylanders game is fun and keeps my little one engaged. I like the concept but we found skylanders late... meaning the latest game was already released. The one thing I think that would have made this game set awesome would be if the figures were backwards compatible. We cannot use these figures we got with the first two games and my little one really wants to play those games now too.

well I have spent over $500.00 with the need and wanting to collect the skylanders. The game is great to play with others even the younger kids show us adults how to play the game even better. I must have all the collection or I might be missing out on some cool adventure. Just when I thought I had all the collection, here comes out another batch of skylanders!!
