My kids and I have played Skylanders, Giants and now Swap Force. Skylanders was a smash hit with us, and we tried collecting all of the characters. Story was fresh, and the action non-stop. Giants made only small changes (except for the characters, which were big). Swap Force adds a nice twist in that characters are more variable as you change tops and bottoms. The ability to buy upgrades such as hats (in game, no real additional cost), to use legendary treasures, buy maps for adventure outside the main story line are also nice additions for game playability. But, if you played the previous versions of Skylanders, Swap Force will be be like visiting an old friend.

I bought this starter set on clearance for $15, and that's about what retail should been since you need figures to go with it beyond what's included. That said, Swap force's gimmick is the best out of the four games in the series, and I highly recommend it.

Son is able to hook up, swap characters, and understand game without trouble. Swapping characters keeps game fun and interesting.

At first concerned that it was for older kids, but my boys had played with their friends and I went ahead and got a copy. I have no problems with the content and the kids love it!

Although I think the portal set is overpriced considering that all game characters need to be bought separately, this game has given my son hours of fun and he loves playing it. Its different enough from Skylanders Giants that it continues to hold his interest. I do like that all prior characters from the last two games are compatible with this portal, at least the kids can continue to get use out of those purchases.

I bought Skylanders Swap Force at a great price. I loved that my other Skylander figures can work with this game. It is a fun game for the whole family.

Skylanders are the new "in thing"with my son and his friends. He plays the game everyday and is frequently asking to add more figures to his collection.

My nephew wanted this game for more than a year and now that he has it he won't stop playing it. Makes it hard to send him to bed early lol.

We own the original skylanders game. My only issue is they keep coming up with new versions (example: skylanders giants). And you have to buy a start up pack for each one so every time u get a new portal which is the bulkiest part of the set up to keep. I do love that on this one all the characters from the original and giants game work

Got my son trap team for Christmas and loved it, so he had to have swap force too. Got a great deal on it also.

These are really terrific figures to get started on the 2nd series of the best computer game series out there!

Kids play this expansion constantly. Good value now that trap team came out.
