Fun for all ages

We love the dual power you get when swapping the Skylanders. However, we do wish we did not have to keep buying starter kits every time a new Skylander product came about. If you keep the same set up and just keep creating different characters it could be just as rewarding. This is why I stopped buying xbox and playstations.

My only complaint is that you have to get new skylander portal's with new expansion packs however the swap force portal appears to be backwards compatible with the giants characters so thats a plus.

The favorite present this Christmas

However...I'd rather he played more with real world stuff and didn't talk incessantly about characters and things I know nothing about. Guess I'm a grumpy old dad. HE has fun.

He's very imaginative and this gives him the opportunity to switch and create different characters. He had the first Skylander's game and loved it so this was a great gift choice.
