My son asked for this for Christmas. He was extremely excited to get it and immediately wanted to hook it up and play. My only negative is that you have to purchase separate characters to use with this game.

I don't use Skylanders, but my grandson is hooked. A 7 year old, he uses it and enjoys playing as often as he is allowed. He has now added several additional figures and is asking for more for Christmas.

Swapped out the control pad from Skylander Giants and my son was playing immediately after opening. Figured out how to swap parts and utilize different characters on the fly.

I was most happy with the online ordering and receiving of this item. Kudos to Best Buy!!!! Thank you for making this so easy. I will definitely shop here again and often.

My sons loved Skylanders Giants when it came out and they played it quite a bit. We purchased quite a few of the figures and then when the new game came out I was hoping to be able to play it without the new portal. Of course you cannot and the portal package is $75. They liked the new game but the newness wore off quickly when they realized most of everything else is exactly the same as the old game. New story line, but not much difference. Overall, it's not worth the investment.

Great game for all ages in my opinion. We liked that it was backward compatible with the older characters from previous skylanders sets.

Game is fun, great kid entertainment but naturally in order to play characters that are more fun you have to purchase them separate for a fairly high price each.

Son loves to play this. FYI: Getting the Swap Force allows you the ability to use all the other figures (giants and regular force).

Extra easy setup and boys were super excited for it. They love the new swap force chapters and characters. Draw back is you have a ton more to buy.

I purchased this because my 9 year old wanted it for Christmas. He wasn't specific so we returned it for the Trap Team which he loves.

My 8 year old son loves this game. He enjoys playing it but is frustrated by the cost of all the additional characters. It is a money pit.

My youngest loves the new character combos, they are once again very good quality. Got it on sale so no complaints.
