Whoa Mama this is one of those unbelievable True Stories that you have to see to believe and even then you won't believe what you're seeing. Action packed from almost start to finish, the directors and writers clearly cut out the fluff of the biopic in order to focus on the death defying stunts that the real life hero went through trying to save his family. Visually the 4K really pops and the Dolby Vision doesn't disappoint. I don't want to give away too much but let's just say if you like half human/half cyborgs skyscrape spelunking while kicking terrorist rumps than this is the movie for you. Highly Recommended.

I REALY ENJOYED THE “PEARL”. IT MADE ME THINK OF THE OBSEVATION TOWERS I HAVE VISITED IN MY LIFETIME. INFACT MANY YEARS AGO I VISITED THE “TOP FLOOR” OF A 50 STORY BUILDING THEN WENT DOWN TO THE THEATER IN THE BASEMENT TO WATCH A NEW MOVIE CALLED “THE TOWERING INFERNO”. THIS MOVIE WAS MUCH MORE “HIGH TECH” NOT TO MENTION A MUCH TALLER BUILDING. IT WAS LIKE A GOOD SATURDAY AFTERNOON MOVIE WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER AND MORE WILLING TO SUSPEND THAT FEELING OF DISBELIEF ON THE STUNTS. THE STORY LINE MOVED RIGHT ALONG AND SPOILER ALERT “THE GOOD GUYS WON” SO YEAH IT HAS SOME BAD GUYS TOO! I THE BEGINNING OF THE MOVIE SETS UP THE ROCK’S CHARACTER NICELY. (ALTHOUGH BEING ORIGINALY FROM MINNESOTA THE MOUTAIN RAPELLING WAS A BIT OF A STRETCH). HOWEVER I ALWAYS ENJOY THE HERO CHARACTERS THE ROCK PLAYS!
