Great sleeper to recommend
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This movie has been one of my sleeper recommendations for years, along with Blood Simple, Body Heat and Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. That it is a bit of a period piece (80's clothing, music and hairdos) only adds to its enjoyment and kitch. Full of intrigue, mystery and twists-and-turns, not to mention two hot actresses (Mastrantonio and Madsen). Adam Ant actually does a fairly decent job as a disingenuous friend to our hero (Hulce), who does a fine job as the hapless victim of a high-power cover-up. Rent this movie - you'll end up owning it.
