I remember hearing this album back in the 90's and being very surprised at how un-Leppard it sounded. However, that is not necessarily a bad thing, as the boys managed to craft a pretty enjoyable album nonetheless. The high point is Pearl of Euphoria, which still has a cool sultry sound.

Def Leppard gets the rights to all their music after a few years of release, then go through and release stuff they kept back and demos, they own it and give back to the fans.

Very underrated CD but well worth rocking! Totally worth it!

After being the rock "n roll darlings of the 80's musical peak Def Leppard decided to go another route while the music industry was figuring out what was in fashion at the moment. This is a more mature, melodic Leppard that what we were used to. At the time it was quite a shock to many people but in the grand scheme of the Def Leppard catalog it's help up quite well and remains a fan favorite to the core Leppard base. If you are feeling adventurous give it a shot.

This is an incredible album not just for Def Leppard, but for anyone. The songs are more intimate and less produced than the stuff on Hysteria or Adrenalize, and therefore feel more honest. It seems to me that when the band sits around and just jams, these are the types of songs they play, and I like that. I can't recommend this remaster enough. Great release.

This is my favorite DL album, and yes I still call them albums. They finally got away from the sterile, over produced sound that had become the norm for the past 3 works. I wish they would go back and revisit this style. Sounds excellent with the remaster and the extra tracks are good and interesting, more than just filler.

Def Leppard is by far my favorite band and this is one of the best records by them. It is so different from their earlier stuff and thats why I love it. I know some casual fans might find it too far of a gap but just really listen to the music and lyrics by themselves and I guarantee you'll love it. Well worth the $12. :-D

Being a fan for 33 years now, how can I not enjoy anything Def Leppard. These boys are very talented and the CD is excellent. I'm old school... I like the CD 's over the downloads! However, I will take the downloads as well. CD's are my first choice and I think it is a much welcomed addition to my collection.

$9.99 for a double cd is a great price, and the bonus track cd is worth it alone.

This was one of my favorite Def Leppard CDs and love hearing how the songs formed.

I'm a huge fan of Slang. I was hoping for more in terms of the packing/artwork. It comes in an old double CD jewel case and doesn't even have photos/artwork from the original release included. Most of the songs are merely other versions of Slang, or b-sides that have been released before, but it is still a must have for any fan of this era of the band.
