i have seen this years ago. a little more cheesey than i remember but its always fun to look back on the past.

I'd never seen this movie be4,but I had a good feeling about this movie.I bought it,@ first it was a little boring,then it got good.Most of the people in the movie are good actors.What's really shocking & freaky is the ending.I was reading other reviews about this movie,one review said that this movie wasn't even allowed to be seen in some states.So,if your interested in seeing this movie,I say go for it.It will shock you.I would not recommend watching part 2 & 3,they're boring.

One of those infamously sleazy horror movies you've heard of more for its shocker ending than the quality of the movie itself, the original "Sleepaway Camp" truly is a film that has to be seen to be believed for that reason. Not to say the rest of the film isn't good, but to be fair, in the annals of horror movie history, it's that darn ending that really sticks with you. Scream Factory's Collector Edition combo pack is another worthy addition to your film collection, both for its remastered picture and sound and a bevy of bonus features, including an in-depth making of, a look at the restoration process and a short film featuring one of the actresses playing an immensely unlikable camp counselor.

sleepaway camp is a classic horror film kinda on the lines of friday the 13th but not as good as friday the 13th but sleepaway camp is a very good horror film from start to finish and it has one of most talk and shocking endings ever bc when i first saw this back in the day i was like this is a pretty good horror film from start to finish so if you are a horror fan than you have to check it out and it is well worth owning on blu-ray and one thing i love about these films that they all have flip side covers witch means you can either pick the new cover or you can get the original cover art

This quickly became one of my favorite go-to horror movies. It is cheesy at times, but it reminds you of the classic horror everyone used to make. And it's most known for it's twist ending that threw everyone for a loop.

Fans of campy horror will NOT be disappointed with this film. Yes, the acting is hit and miss, but it's to be expected of early genre films. It's insane fun with a whopper of a twist ending (pun intended). Enjoy!
