The Definitive Edition for new-gen consoles carries over both of those great traits and adds a decent facelift, and it's just as fun and just as memorable as it was the first time around. An engaging plot littered with memorable characters and a ton of slowly building tension is artfully coupled with solid melee action, gunplay, and driving to create a multi-faceted game that satisfies on all fronts.

Similar to other reviews I read through, I really enjoyed an alternative to the GTA series. There are unique features I really enjoyed such as putting pedestrians in trunks, more complex combat, and more objects in the environment to use/abuse. I also enjoyed 'ghost riding' motorcycles and cars in order to steal others, that was awesome!

I really enjoyed this one. Reminds me of the Hong Kong kung-fu style games. Environment is very interactive, you can throw baddies into almost everything and it will seem cinematic and teeth grinding. It's almost too painful to watch sometimes. Pre-owned is a deal for this game!

This game is one of the best sandbox games out there. Sleeping dogs has most satisfying combat system, however it falls short on memorable side missions. But the gameplay is so great, it makes me forget all the flaws this game has.

Sleeping Dogs was in development for a while, formerly being known as True Crime: Hong Kong. Well, it's well worth the wait. It's essentially GTA III in Hong Kong, or any of the goofier ps2 generation GTAs. This game has it's serious moments, but when it comes down to it, it's trying to not take itself overly seriously, and exploring Hong Kong with that in mind is a blast.

So much fun to play! Got so much things to do in this game.

Sleeping Dogs is a well themed, Hong Kong placed open world game. Whether it's brawling in the streets, betting on chickens along the waterfront, or essentially starring in an homage movie to martial-arts classics like Enter the Dragon during one (very) long mission, Sleeping Dogs won't disappoint.

Not much of an improvement with this remaster. Feels pretty half baked as well. The game itself is pretty good, though. Very similar to those True Crime games on Xbox and PS2.

If you love martial arts this is one for you. Its a grand theft auto like open world with plenty to do. The story is very well voice acted and feels like a movie. Its so fun to run around in Honk Kong and build your character to achieve more weapons, vehicles, and clothes.

Sleeping Dogs was a great overlooked gem on the last-gen consoles. Now with updated graphics and all of the downloadable content included, the Definitive Addition is a great game to check out for the PS4.

Very good remake of an already enjoyable game. If you played the original it might not be worth playing it again but if you missed the original this version is definitely worth a play through.

I played through Sleeping Dogs on PS3 and loved it. Any fan of martial arts, cop movies, or Hong Kong cinema will want to own this game. This edition improves the presentation greatly and includes all the DLC. You can't go wrong picking this up!

Sleeping Dogs is an excellent game released for the PS3 and rereleased with all (or most) of the DLC for the PS4. Im not sure what was updated for current gen, but it looks about the same as it did for the PS3, to me. It is a great game, though and if you havent played it yet, i definitely recommend it. Im just not sure if i would buy it at current prices, if i had already beaten it on PS3. TL:DR- Buy if it you have never played it before. If you have, maybe wait for a sale or until the price comes down a bit more.

It's an awesome game, plays just like the ps3 version. I didnt see where the improvements were made. Great game though...

I own the PS3 version of this game, but I bought this next-gen version when BB offered it for $10. Not sure exactly sure what I was expecting in terms of gameplay, but I did expect better graphics. The graphics increase wasn't significant, and if I'd paid full price for the game, I would have been disappointed, but for the price I paid it was worth the purchase.

It is a great game and if you like GTA, Mafia, or L.A. Noire . This game is for you.

gameplay is much like GTA but much smaller and more on story than side quests

If you enjoy games like Grand <theft Auto then Sleeping Dogs is definitely worth a shot since it has a very unique setting and the combat system is fun to use. There are some frame rate issues with this remaster that should been addiressed but overall it´s a fun game.

this game is awesome. palyed it back on ps3, only better on ps4
