This 4k is one of the coolest steelbooks I now own. The cover art is gorgeous and it includes a hardcover edition of Washington Irvings original novel binded directly into the steelbook case. I really love how unique this steelbook is designed like a traditional book. No it does not click shut, but like a real book, it can be opened with out any pressure, which is the point of its design. The discs are secured into the claim shell like any normal 4k movie, so no worries if the the discs are going to pop out. The discs are easy to remove. The image quality is a HUGE upgrade from the blu ray version. The HDR contrast and image detail are the two biggest upgrades from the old blu-ray transfer. The film grain is stable and I didn't notice any overt DNR. The sound also has much more of a punch than the old mix, though it nothing that will blow you away, but it is a notable improvement from the blu-ray mix. The muted color pallet is also improved, but not as much of a difference than the either the film or old blu-ray. The only negative for me is that the blu-ray included in the set, is not from the new transfer, but the horrible 2006 transfer, which suffers from black crush and waxy DNR and a very lackluster 5.1 audio mix. Overall this is an AMAZING and UNIQUE steelbook and the 4K HDR transfer is a big upgrade from the blu-ray.

Out of the gate this steelbook isnt a normal steelbook so people that think about purchasing need to realize that. It functions kinda like a book you know the one you read so it doesnt properly close. It has some of the nicest feeling and looking cover art ive seen as well. Other than that i think it is a very cool design if they could in the future work to make these close better that would be awesome!

Ok, so the 4K transfer definitely an upgrade from previous bluray edition. As well as better audio transer...although audio still only DTS and not Atmos it sounds better than bluray. I hate the steelbook because doesn't close all the way. There's a special book included with steelbook but it's more like the front and back cover. If I knew it was going to look like that I wouldn't have gotten steelbook just 4k in regular case

The most creative steelbook set I have ever purchased. It's essentially a small book within the actual steelbook! And the foam pad that holds the disc at the end makes it feel premium. They basically took both the steelbook and sets from the 20th Anniversary, altered them and combined them into a single set with the final result being just impressive. The only details I would highlight is that the spine of the book could be slightly miss lined with the one from the actual steelbook (depending on how it's packaged). It has an amazing presentation, a vibe that suits the tone of the film and a creativity that can be an easy conversation starter. Overall a must have for both Sleepy Hollow and Tim Burton fans

A one of a kind, top notch steelbook! I've been very fortunate to have received ALL my steelbook purchases in mint condition thus far from Best Buy. However, I do agree with other reviewers that a bit more protection would be a welcomed sight. Bubble wrap has a wonderful reputation!!!!

Such a beautiful copy of this movie. The steelbook artwork is well done and the booklet on the inside is awesome. This copy of sleepy hollow went quickly but if it’s rereleased do not miss the opportunity to own it. A great addition to my collection.

The movie itself was ok but really a ‘cult classic’. Always a fan of Tim Burton, Johnny Depp and the cast of actors. The anniversary steelbook edition artwork and story booklet was too good to pass up. Love it as a collector.

The 4K transfer is pretty good and the artwork on the outside of the steel book is decent. I'm not crazy about the permanently attached story the film was adapted from...I'd rather have a booklet that can be fit inside or something like that. I also would have preferred something else since I'm really here for the 4K release.

beautiful packaging, a must for the fans, however the only flaw I can find is that the case stays slightly open because of the book inside pushes it out a bit and there's no locking mechanism. still a must have

If you are a Tim Burton fan this movie is a must have for your collection. Everyone is on top of their game in this dark story about the legendary headless horseman.

Happy to see that this movie got the 4K treatment, and the steelbook edition made it even better. The design/ condition is great and the image quality is nice. Highly recommend!

This is a great movie and the 4k transfer looks phenomenal. It looks even better on a 4k OLED tv. The steelbook is absolutely stunning and truly one of a kind.

This dark, humorous, well made film is a standout in Burton’s filmography. Entertaining and disgusting where it needs to be, it is one of Depp’s best as well.

This is NOT about the movie. At this point, anyone browsing here has their own opinion of the movie. This review is for the worst designed steelbook ever. BUYER BEWARE: It does not close. Whoever designed it eliminated the feature that snaps the edge closed, presumably to accommodate the collector book inside. This design flaw is exacerbated by the too-thick foam core used to house the discs. The foam core could be thinner by half, and I may even try compressing it used plywood scraps & clamps from my shop. Still, it’s a gorgeous steelbook, & the lack of a close feature will be somewhat mitigated by the shelves I display mine on. As a steelbook collector, I’m highly disappointed with this release.
