They are a wise decision if you plan to use the laptop in tablet mode, because the keys will be facing whatever service you lay the laptop on. The keys are non-functioning while in tablet mode but if you set the device on a dirty service you will wish you had this protection.

It's Just A Sleeve...

The sleeve is marketed as a custom fit for the Yoga2 Pro with access holes cut out to match with the ports on the Yoga2 Pro. They aren't even close to being usable. When one slot is aligned, all others are misaligned, rendering it pretty useless when in the sleeve. The materials used are shoddy, with loose white fibers all along the open edges of the case that get pulled, revealing even more loose edges. This case was EXPENSIVE too. If I had been half the price it would still have been only an average case, but it's price makes this a seriously defective item.

Although I would prefer something that fully encapsulates the laptop this sleeve has a really nice feel to it and looks great on the computer. Again, it doesn't Cover the entire Device but it will allow you to charge the device when in the cover.

Something I could put my laptop in without having to deal with zipping/unzipping the whole time. While it's true this is not padded, it's a slim cover to keep the laptop from getting dirty or banged up in a backpack. For people looking for a padded case, this isn't it.
