picking up after S1, S2 does job. only thing i hate is the chloe and clark didn't get a full season together but enjory. ur welcome.

My mother became a Smallville fan after watching it on TNT early in the mornings. Knowing she had never seen the first couple of seasons, I noticed the Best Buy site having the two on sale. After realizing I could get them even cheaper online, I ordered the seasons and gave them to her as a Christmas present. She has truly enjoyed those seasons (as they're better than the later seasons) and now can watch them whenever she wants!

This season is very well done and an improvement on the first. There is a memorable cameo from Christopher Reeve in ''Rosetta'' Lionel Luthor's presence is a lot bigger in this season which in turn adds to Lex's character and while most of the episodes are still fairly standalone, there is an arc running through this season about Clark learning where he came from. All of this makes for a better show.

I had not seen any foe these until my husband got me hooked on them. I am so glad that he did. The series is amazing and I am glad to say that I have all 10 seasons in by possession.

If your huge fan of comic book characters and superheroes this is definitely a great show. It starts slow but it is amazing and the stories are pretty fun and easy to follow

I really enjoy this DVD . I have been waiting to complete my DVD collection for Smallville, and I am very happy!

If you are a fan of Superman then this is the show for you. If this is the case then Smallville is a must have.

They continue with a phenomenal second series to this story about a superman-to-be

the best superman show I've seen. I recommend it to anyone who likes superman.

Great follow up season to the first awesome one. Loved it!

When Season 1 ended Jonathan Kent (John Schneider) had risked a tornado to protect his families secret, Lex (Michael Rosenbaum) must decide the fate of his father, and Clark (Tom Welling) runs into a tornado that had engulfed Lana (Kristin Kreuk). The story of a small Kansas town that will spawn the greasest hero ever continues. Clark's secret is becoming to big to hide to his friends and someone finds out about his powers. Lex must put his synicism aside and let someone into his heart, and Lana makes a discovery that will change her life forever. Clarks life grows more complicated when he meets a scientist, played by Christopher Reeves, who tells him he is the only surivior of an alien planet. His relationship with Lana grows closer, and a red meteor shows up that will allow him to "let loose." This was a greatest season as far as moving the characters along. Clark finds out where he comes from and what his birth parents had planned for him. He also has a bumpy love life in the triangle with him, Lana, and Chloe (Allison Mack). This is kinda Clark and Lex's high point, after this season it starts to fade as both head towards their destiny.

I would honestly say being a fan or not a fan of smallville, that this season will get you hooked and looking forward to future seasons and since the very first episode when i was 8 or 9, when the first season came on the WB, 8-9 years ago, i'm 16 and I still watch it and still love the show. If you buy any season, this one really hit a nice stride and makes me want more and more. So, hopefully in the near future, i'll buy more sets and live all the greatest moments of smallvilles 8 year run. I think this one being the second season, thats why its so good. They already established their characters and really had to top the previous season and they acclomplished it with season 2. Buy it fast and quick...you won't regret it!!!

Just recently got into this show. Never liked Superman too nuch because he had too many powers. Like this where he is developing powers and learning the history behind Superman a little. The acting may not be the best out there, but good enough to portray the story.

The Second Season of Smallville is the continued story of Clark Kents journy from small town boy to superhero Superman. In this season we meet a few people that we know Superman will know in his future.
