I was hesitant on buying this case at first because of the cost ($79) but glad I got it. It's excellent quality, protects well without adding too much weight or thickness and the leather feels great in your hands.

The Smart-Case for Apple iPad Air 2 is a great case, because it fits the iPad perfectly, it protects the iPad well, it is thin and light like the iPad, and it looks professional with it's black leather.

The Apple Case is made very well and provides some protection with a minimum of additional bulk. The case is designed for horizontal viewing and supports that mode well. Vertical viewing is somewhat difficult. Price is high for what you get.

We purchased this case for my wife's new iPad after comparing many cases. I also have 12 of these same cases at work for class iPads. Great features are the sturdiness of the case and how well it protects the tablet. The built in magnet serves two convenient purposes - it puts the iPad to sleep automatically and keeps the case securely closed. Downsides are the hole for the multijack (headphone/microphone) is too tight and must either be enlarged or must use a skinny adapter. The tri-fold stand is not stable or reliable to keep the iPad upright, and is only suited for landscape. The addition of an elastic strap inside would be nice to hold the iPad in one hand. Pros: Sturdy, strong, very protective, magnetic closure doubles as sleep switch. Cons: Multijack opening too small for easy access, stand mode unreliable.

Extremely light, feels good in hand, easy to clean . frankly speaking, its on higher end when it comes to price and could have been little cheaper, but after spending so much on my ipad air 2, i really didn't mind spending extra on this case .

Not too bulky. Provides protection to both front & back of the iPad Air 2. Folds to allow iPad to stand either vertically or horizontally. Good quality material (leather). Nice feel.

This is my second Apple Smart Case, I only needed to get a second one because I got an iPad Air2 and needed a different size case! They are outstanding cases, very protective and last forever.

Wish they had it in more colors, but that has nothing to do with Best Buy. The leather is soft and comfortable to hold. The fit is perfect, because it is designed exactly for the device. Doesn't add a whole lot of bulk to the device.

The Apple Smart Case is a perfect compliment to the iPad Air 2. Streamlined and light weight, it provides the needed protection yet doesn't undermine the convenient size and weight of the iPad Air 2.

I chose this because it was made by Apple. It fits perfectly and looks sharp. There are so many options, I just wanted to keep it simple. It's a bit pricy, but it is leather and, again, an Apple product.

I bought this product because I was in a pinch and I needed to quickly purchase a cover for my iPad. I was going out of town and I didn't want shop around. It's hard to believe that this product was in scarce supply so I'm lucky to have found one in a decent color. As listed in the title, it does the job. There are times I need to take the iPad out of the casing and this case is pretty simple. The back is protected from scratches and the front keeps the screen safe. My only drawback is the magnet as it's quite strong and it sticks to my desk pad. I had no idea the top of my office desk was made out of metal until I placed the iPad screen down.

I wanted a cover for my new iPad that would be both light and trim and provide good protection for the iPad. This case is perfect for the job!

I personally do not care for protective cases for my phones or tablets- mainly because they tend to be obtrusive and take away from the aesthetic appeal of the devices they are trying to preserve. That said, I think this is an excellent case from Apple. It is very sleek and minimalistic- and I love the fact that it doesn't add much to the iPad Air's weight either. I like to resell my iPads every two years and a case is a must if you want to be able to command a premium in the second- hand market. I've seen and felt several offerings from various aftermarket companies all trying to turn a buck by riding Apple's coattails- and none of them can hold a candle to this "Smart Case". Worth every red cent!!

This is the one to get. Light weight but protective. Originally purchased an Otter Box case but it was very heavy. Best Buy had no issue with exchanging it for this Apple case.

A perfect fit and great look. Doesn't detract from the size and weight of the iPad2. Recommend if you want to protect from scratches. Not drop proof.

Purchased new iPad Air 2 and this case to protect it. Adds a little weight but the trade off is noticeable with the protection it provides to the iPad. It works great and is very durable.

The Apple Smart Case for the iPad Air 2 is an excellent product. The quality of the materials (leather) is great and has a nice warm feel in the hand. The exceptionally thin form factor of the iPad Air 2 is somewhat difficult for me to hold comfortably. I felt like I would drop it because it was so thin. The Smart Case makes the Air 2 thicker in my hand and the texture of the leather adds grip to the device. The cover works well to "wake' the iPad up when opened. I also like the color very well, it is dark and should not show from handling it. The only negative is the cover can be a little difficult to open, at least in comparison to the Smart Cover and hard-shell case I have on my iPad 2.

This protects the ipad well and doesn't interfere with using it. It seems to hold up fine with use. The one drawback is the price, cheaper products could be just as good.

The iPad Air smart case provides great protection for my iPad. I have used the same case for another iPad for over 5 years. It has proven to be very durable and a good investment.

When I got my new IPad Air 2, I was looking for a case that added the least amount of weight. This is it. It is more expensive than other cases, but it is well worth it for this IPad.
