The Apple smart case for ipad air 2 is incredible, very comfortable and handy; also the material that is manufactured is excellent

I purchased this for my lovely wife who deserves the best and I think she got it with this case to go with her IPad. It's a little pricy but worth every penny. Don't skimp and be a gimp! Buy the best!

It is perfect for IPad Air2..very strong and attractive

This is a great case, but if I had to do it again, I probably wouldn't have spent $79 on it. There are many other cases for MUCH cheaper that offer the same protection. I had one for an old iPad that was only $15, and it was actually more functional (it had a folding feature to have it stand up in portrait mode.) This case is a perfect fit, and the magnetic open/close feature is great, but again, you can find these features on cheaper cases. The leather on this case is also nice and has a great feel, but do you really need a leather case? You can't go wrong with this case, but you can certainly go cheaper.

This case has a great fit, color, and feel. It doesn't add bulk like other cases I've seen. The only downside I've found is with magnets not holding well when propping it up.

Apple cases are a great fit for general protection of an Ipad. If you have young children or will be using your iPad outside, opt for Otterbox. A higher level of protection, but you sacrifice weight and bulk. These cases work great without adding either bulk or weight, and I love the sleekness to be able to travel with. Slides in an out of my travel bag without effort.

I love this cover for my IPad Air 2. It fits perfectly and it is very easy to put on. It is very soft ant it is very flexible. All the ports are directly aligned. It is very light weight and protects the product adequately.I am very happy with the color. I would definitely recommend this product.

This leather smart case feels like a premium product. I like the deep, rich blue color. The case is light and protective, and does not add much bulk to the entire package. Only cons are the price and the fact that the stand does not support the iPad in portrait orientation as well as landscape.

This is a nice slim and lightweight case that fits the iPad air 2 well, and provides full coverage without adding too much bulk. Finish is nice. Minor gripe is that the cover (just the cover, not the body of the case) fits somewhat looser than I expected when in the closed position because the edge of the case around the body of the iPad is taller than the iPad. As a result, the magnet can't hold the cover down as snug, compared to using just a smart cover alone. This isn't all bad though, the fact that the edges of the case are taller than the ipad body means that the case protects the iPad better in the event of a drop since it totally envelopes the iPad body. It's not quite a perfect 5 stars, but it's quite good. I'd give it 4.5 stars if that was an option.

The cover is elegantly simple and lightweight, yet it provides a very high level of protection for the iPad. It completely encases the device, in front and back, yet it is very easy to open. The cover folds and tucks nicely to make a stand for propping the iPad up for reading and viewing. It also automatically puts the device in sleep mode when you close the cover. The imbedded magnetic strip provides for secure closing, while allowing easy opening. Much better protection than the cover-only version, and provides a very secure gripping surface for both front and back.

I love these cases. I had purchased the same design for my previous iPad mini. It provides decent protection and keeps the tablet looking good without adding too much bulk. There are obviously cases that provide more protection from serious drops, etc. if that is necessary. But if you are looking for something to provide simple protection from scratches and small drops while keeping bulk to a minimum, this is a great option. The ability to stand up the iPad in a couple different positions is also really nice.

I like the tactile feel of the leather, the folding stands and it offers a bit of proctection, it fits well and looks nice. Not meant for those who risk dropping their iPads. I like the magnetic closure that puts iPad to sleep. But I do periodically take it off while at home if I'm holding my iPad in portrait mode for any length of time. Holding the cover back plucks my nerves but any cover I had to hold back would do the same. I've yet to find the perfect case for any tablet so as far as cases are concerned this is pretty good.

If I could, I would add an extra half star so that it would rate 4-½. So I tried cheaping out and buying a few $10 cases but all had flaws. I decided I was going to pony up the dough and buy this. I am so happy I did. It's nice and thin, very light weight, soft to the touch and very stylish. Only reason I don't have this 5 stars is because $80 for a case is still hard to swallow. It is worth the money though.

I had a similar case for my older iPad, and I still enjoy the style of protective wrap-around with easy to open flap. This one is designed to fit the Air2, and I like it better because the fold is slightly wider to allow the iPad to be tilted up more and easier to use. It is also much lighter than the old case, although same style. The color is dreamy! They call it "soft pink," but I call it "blush" and I love it!

Looked at a number of cases for the iPad Air 2 we purchased from Best Buy and finally decided on the Apple Smart Case. It's a little pricey, but it fits the iPad Air 2 perfectly. The lid locks and unlocks the iPad when closing or opening the cover, which doubles as a very functional easel-style stand for the iPad. The case has a nice leather feel to it as well - definitely worth the investment.

Fits like a glove. Looks beautiful. Feels perfect. You really do need something covering the iPad because it is so so slick you will more than likely let it slip out of your hand. It's expensive, sure, but you'll not regret it. At this point now it's even getting softer and taking on it's unique character.

Beside the overall cost, $80, The apple iPd cover is the best that I have ever owned/used. I have had three iPads and three different covers - Speck, SimplyMac, and now the Apple Smart Case. It cost almost double the Simply Mac cover but I really like the weight and feel. If does feel a little more fragile but it is very sleek and easy to use. Hopefully, over time it will stand up. I do think it is over priced. But, I am worth it.

This cover fits perfect on the iPad Air 2. Seems very well made. Not a lot of overlap on the front of the iPad but the device fits very securely in it. The cover is soft and will not scratch the glass, and I suspect it will get even softer with wear. The auto awake/sleep when opening/closing the cover works every time. My only problem is the price. I made the decision to buy it at the time I bought the iPad basically to see the quality of an Apple product vs. the lower priced products I've bought in the past with my older iPad. I'm not disappointed, but have had great success with lesser priced brands. It is light and doesn't add much weight to the iPad, which I also really like since I take it with me every day. I haven't dropped it, so I can't speak on the protection it offers as far as drops go. If you use the iPad lightly, the case is great. If you use it in a rougher environment, you will likely want a sturdier case.

This is a great product! It really lives up to its name of being a "Smart" case. The automatic sleep and wake feature is wonderful, and the way it folds to become a stand is genius!! It may be a little pricey for some, but I think it's well worth the cost. It's extremely durable while being lightweight. I heartily recommend the Smart Case!

This is my favorite case that I have found. I wanted one that covered the front, looked good, and had ways to prop up the ipad for better viewing. This accomplished all of them and is great. I hated spending this much on a case, but also didn't want to cheap out on a case for something that is worth $600. Its double what it should cost, but is the best quality I have found.
