This is a big improvement from the original Apple Smart Cover that only protected the screen. This one also covers the back of the iPad and keeps the size down.

Thin, feels premium to the touch. I like that there are a number of configurations possible to adjust to my needs as far as using it as a stand.

Apple has created a case that is sleek and protective and it enhances your use and joy in a product that is so completely competent it still defines the genre.

since this is an original cover from apple it fits perfect all around and protects from scratches not falls. if iPad falls it will damage the iPad

This is a really useful product and really necessary since there's no easy way to prop up the iPad without it. It is a bit pricey however and I wish there was a way to stand it up vertically.

Never purchased an Apple case for an IPAD before. The price was always to high, but as the old saying goes- you definitely get what you pay for.

I had a smart case for my IPad 2. It was much sturdier than the new one I got for the IPad Air. I do not think this one will last more than a couple of years. But I am sold on The Smart Case, so I took the chance on it anyway.

As per usual the apple fitted cases are the best thought out and minimal case. I hate that they don't make them for the new ipads any more

I would buy this again... I Love it and My wife will be purchasing one soon. The down side is the price, but otherwise I'm pleased with everything else.

Absolutely no complaints with the Smart Case. Provides good protection and fits like a glove. The price is high but it is leather and should last forever with proper care.

I really like this cover. It looks very nice, while protecting the IPad. I like that it turns the IPad to sleep mode when it is closed.
